I got my GL (mid-Luxury) from Nissan Gallery Quezon Avenue last June 2008, Si 2youta ay dun din nya nakuha yung unit nya. I think pareho naman ng pricing yung mga dealer, nagkakaiba lang sa mga freebies and financing. If by financing, mas cheaper or less interest pag direct sa bank (not by car dealer then bank).

OK naman sa NGQA, pati service nila ay maayos din. Better try to inquire to at least two casa para mai-compare nyo yung mga freebies.

this past few days, i've inquired NGL from 2 casa's, tama si welscua.. so yun nga.. since im from south, i tried inquiring from Nissan Mantrade and Nissan Westgate alabang... mas ok ang deal nung nakausap ko sa Westgate, so tomorrow punta kami ng husband ko to test drive.

anu-ano po bang dapat naming i-check tomorrow?

na-approve nga pala ako ng loan sa BPI-FS at 31.5%, grabe tumaas agad interest, last year lang 30.31% ang offer nila, so now we are on the phase of scouting a unit, NGL nga napagkasunduan namin ng hubby ko.

excited na ako for tomorrow! hehe

I got mine thru BPI-FS din last year for 24.1% (48 months), wow naka 1 year na pala ako. Account holder ako ng BPI and BDO and I told BPI Marikina na may offer din sa akin ang BDO then within few hours ay hinabol nila yung ofer ng BDO kaya napababa ko ng 24.1%. Try to inquire sa BDO din and take your time at baka ibaba pa ng BPI yung interest nila kasi they are lowering the interest rate nowadays para ma-encourage yung prospective buyers. Remember you will lose nothing pag nag-haggle kayo, 1% is a big amount of money.

BTW, some casa and banks are offering 3 months installment ng comprehensive insurance (0% interest) + act of god and 0% participation above 10k pesos, try mo rin. Free tint, free gas, free oil filters every 10k, may offer pa na free LTO, free teddy bear, free matting, free carwash.

For your test drive, try nyo separate seats ng hubby mo, puede sa second or third row then observe the following:
- suspension (kung matagtag ay inquire nyo tire pressure)
- smoke intrusion (kasi yung mga unit namin ay pinapasok ng usok pero naayos na yun ng casa)
- sound-proofing
- breaking power
- engine power/sound
- yung a/c so far ay OK naman sa aming mga GL owners, nothing special with audio unit.

We got our GL from Westgate also. We also loaned thru BPI-FS. I have forgotten the interest rate (with the perks GL is giving us, it's really not hard to forget

) but I believe I wrote it here and it was competitive. I will either rummage through our Livina files or will look in this thread and post later.

naku mga kuya, super thanks sa mga helpful replies nyo kahit too late ko na nabasa d ako nakapagcheck ng replies nyo before kami umalis kanina for test driving. may side kwento ako at itatanong ko rin sa inyo sana kung magkakaproblema ako in the future if ever:

ang nangyari kasi the other day, i was talking to BPI-FS at nanghingi ako ng referral sa Westgate, so she gave me a contact person there. I called the number and it was busy, so i googled Nissan Westgate and called their other numbers posted. I asked the person who answered the phone to connect me to the agent and she instead gave me another number to call. I called the number and was able to talk to the agent I was looking for. So we talked about the details and scheduled a test drive today nga. Alam nyo ba when we were at Finance Road pagkalampas lang ng ATC, tinawagan ko yung agent para tanungin san banda yung Nissan Westgate, ang sagot sa akin nasa NIssan Southwoods daw sya!!! OH NOH!!!! all along our conversation, akala nya alam kong tumatawag ako sa Nissan Southwoods at ako naman akala ko ang tinatawagan ko Nissa Westgate! shooottt! and the test unit came from nissan westgate, dahil isa lang yun nan naghihiraman sila.

so ang nangyari, she went to nissan westgate and we waited for 30 minutes. My husband and I drove the car and after that diniscuss nung agent yung details ng deal, freebies, etc... Now the question/big concern, since pag binili namin yung GL from southwoods, she can arrange that we can have it serviced at westgate for its periodic maintainance, for sure hindi kami VIP doon. Ang advise nya is itatawag namin sa kanya before kami pumunta sa casa westgate para ma arrange nya. Eh what if dumating ang time na resign na sya sa southwoods? Baka nde kami bigyan ng maayos na treatment sa westgate during the periodics. My husband and I will haggle na bigyan kami ng VIP sa westgate. We are 80% sure na, or baka nga next week mag transact na kami.

ano po sa tingin nyo magkakaron kaya kami ng prob sa ganung setup? parang unethical naman atang magpalit ng agent from southwoods to westgate.

kami po we got our unit at Nissan ABad santos Mla, but were having her serviced at Nissan EDsa,,, but in my case, the former closed shop, so no choice po ako but to transfer... but i think servicing is a not that big deal, since the marketing dept is diff from the service dept kahit na one and same dealer sila... for me, i think any Nissan naman is really doing it best to give "quality service"...

I think there's no problem kung magpalit ka ng agent. My suggestion is sa may westgate ka na makipag transact directly since dun ka rin naman magpapaservice.
I'm from cabuyao and i got my unit at nissan north edsa since may kakilala ako dun at mas magandang deal ang binigay nila sa kin.

Hi to all GL owners, I've been reading this thread since I got my Livina last June 24 2009 ( Warm Silver - Elegance ) and no major complaint so far as to its overall performance. It's good we have this "info-sharing" at least we can compare & address all or any issues pertaining to our GLs'

nakausap ko ulit yung agent namin, kung yung VIP lang daw ang problema namin, she'll endorse us daw to Nissan Westgate for that... so ok naman pala, hopefully maging smooth lahat...

grabe i'm so excited na talaga! sarap ng test drive experience namin kahapon, ang suwabe ng handling! we are getting color gray GL luxury nga pala at ang mga ipapakabit naming accesories: door visors, mudguard, backing up sensors, mahilig kasi most of the time mag reverse parking, baka maging prob ko ang pagtantya kung babangga na

yung luggage net sa likod tinatry naming ipa-free

Congrats sa mga new owners of GL and paki-update na lang yung list natin. I am seeing GL everywhere I go now. I believe that GL will outsell other MPV this year.
