You can buy a carpet protector at ACE or Handyman. It's foamy when applied on the carpet and matting. When it dries up it's like a thin plastic film which protects the fabric from liquids and dirt. Around P400. A light interior really looks so luxurious pero hassle lang sa maintenance.

    Salamat sirs.

May mga ibang tips pa ba tayo on for maintaining yung pagiging beige ng Livina? Paano niyo na-me-maintain yung "beigeness" nang interior ng pintuan?

Well I meant hassle mag-maintain ng beige na carpet than the dark gray or black carpets because of the stains from dirt or liquids. If you use the carpet protector, you would still have to vacuum the carpet pero without worrying about stains.

Considering the different carmakers, I was surprised to see how similar these two cars are - I could swear the Livina is the GD Jazz's big brother. The Livina seems very well engineered and has a lot of neat design quirks.

My cousin is married and has two large kids and altogether she's happy with the Nissan - fuel economy, reliability and performance are all good. It's a major upgrade from the tired Mitsubishi Adventure they used to have.
Yup, I think both cars are using drive by wire technology, same aluminum block engine (lighter/smaller), fuel-efficient, looks small outside but they're quite roomy inside, ano pa ba? Ah, it is like pulling/stretching the Jazz to accomodate the 3rd row then you got a GL.

*Livi: are you the one always parked in front of Tropical Hut/Mercury Drug San Mateo and sometimes in Puregold? Steel Gray?

Yung daughter ko ay mahihiluhin mana sa mama nya, dati kahit sa FX/taxi ay nahihilo yun, pinapainom pa nga namin ng bonamine bago magbyahe, even when I had my Lancer box type ay nasusukahan din nya. Pero as she grows older ay nawala na yung pagiging mahihiluhin nya, esp. ng nabili namin si GL ay di pa sya nahihilo sa byahe even long distance. Yung youngest son ko na 10 yr old ay reserve sa kanya yung 3rd row with his abubots pero wala lang, tulog lang sila sa byahe.

Checking your GL's suspension is OK but it is better to consult a doctor also to be in safe side.

In terms of suspension, maganda suspension ng livina. One time, sinundo ko Engineering director namin sa airport ( 90 kms travel ). He sitted at the middle at bumilib sya sa ride comfort ng livina when in normal roads. He even told me na icoconvince nya anak nya to buy livina instead of civic ( more value for money daw ). Ang observation ko masyado lang reactive ang suspension pagdating sa lubak. At pag dumaan ka sa tickle bar, randam mo talaga, as a driver parang nagvivibrate manibela. Pero as a passenger, hindi masyado.
