I agree with you. The fact of the matter is that the Innova and Avanza are just freakin' everywhere! I guess one of the attractions of the Livina is that there aren't too many around. Size-wise (in relation to the feeling of interior space), is there that much of a difference between the Livina and the Innova?
Now if I could just really pull the trigger on buying this!

November 29th, 2008 01:15 PM #1023johnnydls (do the letters "dls" stand for De La Salle? if so, musta, fellow alumnus!) - If I purchase this, I will definitely be getting the matic, even if the manual is 6-speed. I get tired using a stick shift.
Between the mid-range and the high-end, the differences (from what I gather) are 6 speakers for the high, 4 for the mid; 2 airbags for the high, 1 for the mid; leather seats and chrome grille for the high. Tama ba?

im really not sure about the options for the mid and the high. but if you can afford it, go for the high end. the leather seats are quite nice. the speakers, i dont know if youre like me, i changed them right away even before the car went out of the casa, including the stock HU. the chrome grill looks good too.
which color do you prefer?

The Grand Livina's recommended tire pressure is 35psi all around. The rear should 44psi when loaded with 5 or more people. It's in the sticker at the driver's B pillar when you open the door.
Having tire pressure's lower than this will lower your fuel consumption figures. Try that first.
Fuel may affect the kind of consumption you get as well. Personally, I always use V-Power because it seems to last longer. My theory is, with better fuel, it is easier to accelerate and therefore one spends less effort and fuel on the acceleration phase, which is when fuel is used up faster.
So my idea is the less time you spend accelerating, the better your fuel consumption figures will be. Coupled with moderate pedal pressure, keeping your RPMs to around 2000-2500 lang will give you the figures you yearn for.
