I got my Navara 1 month ago I havent tried driving it yet since Im still out of the country, my wife says exactly what you noticed sir, I thought my wife is sanay lang sa sedan kaya ganun observation nya... so mahirap pala e drive ang Nav M/T in a stop and go traffic situation? This could because of electronic accelarator?

March 14th, 2009 11:36 AM #784NICE ONE, SIR GHOST RECON! LOL
WILL SURELY BEAT ALL COMPUTER BOX'S IN THE MARKET! ! ! !
Thanks again for your inputs on the wheels!
My take on the GEAR SHIFT ISSUE:
Mine is an A/T 4x2 and based on the MANUAL, 4x4's has a very limited power/gear range on its 1st and 2nd gears. (e.g. 9 kph to 20 kph, respectively). I assume this would really be apparent in stop and go traffic situation. To say the least, it will be "cumbersome" that the driver has to shift regularly. Thus, unknowingly becoming a clutch driver. Failure to observe such a procedure would result to untimely engine stall.
As for my NAV, I try to engage/observe its power band as stated in its MANUAL, particularly Chapter 5-12 to 13. It has given me an "EDGE" when it comes to having to accelerate more quickly and responsively though I limit myself to speed only up to 120 kph and never tried to floor the pedal to the metal. Tempted, but not that brave enough!

Naisip ko lang baka naman on cruising speed lang yung Nav, naexcite naman masyado yung naka Ford nung nalampasan nya. Haha.Possible din na yung top of the line engine variant yung nakasabay ng 4x2 natin. I just find it funny that some people can draw conclusions from one instance.
Anyone looking to get rid of their stock 4x4 rims? I'd like to buy a whole set of 5. Please pm me. Thanks!

Baka nga relax driving lang yung naka Nav nung na lagpasan sya.
just asking yung mga nakikita ko sa video na nakaka 200Km/H ang Navara is that the 4x4 variant? yung 4x2 cguro mga 180Km/H lang top speed..
Anyway I cant imagine running my Nav in that speed.. nerbyos ko lang

I think Its kill switch, we have that in our company vehicle. Naka tago yan na ang driver lang nakaka alam kung saan naka lagay, maliit na button switch lang yan. You have to reset this switch before you start the car otherwise di sya talaga aandar.. It is also a carjacking protection kasi once na nag bukas ang door, or lumabas ang driver you have to reset the switch again after you close the door, otherwise mga ilang kilometro lang ang tatakbuhin mamamatay ang engine... maybe its got to do with the fuel supply solenoid being shutoff when you dont reset the switch... kaya makakatakbo pa ng few distance bago mamatay.

Security loophole with our Navs is the absence of motion sensor and hood switch which may be prone to access to battery wire. Only possible way to steal vehicle when left armed is to duplicate remote switch, or tow vehicle. Good thing is, when armed(based from manual), re-attaching battery triggers alarm.
Hindi ba delikado yun fuel kill switch with crdi, may fuel deprivation sa rail at masisira ang learning mode ng fuel pump? For crdi mas ok siguro yung ignition kill with timer.
Made some quick research sa fuel pump learning ng nav -http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/425379-post11.html Eto na kaya ang sagot sa black smoke (running rich in fuel) and poor economy?? Hmm..may weekend project nanaman ako..hehe But next time nalang siguro. I think my ecu learned well na kaya no black smoke, and still consistent at 12-14 km/l.
I can attest that these tablet types don't leave any marks nor is it harsh on the washer system. I...
