I stumbled upon this site rim size guide and 265 tires is only allowed on 7j rim size
I cant see any site that says a 265 tires is allowed on 6j rims?
I already contacted my tire supplier to defer my tire upgrade.

Like I posted unless you are doing anything extreme it should be fine. I know of guys who run it and has not caused them any problem. But if you don't want to risk it then you can run a 255 instead, it would only be off by .5". If you want to stay in your approved range then a 245/75/16 would get you almost the same diameter as the 265 just not the width of the tire. What are you trying to do? Are you going after a bigger diameter tire or wider tire?

Dude even if you replace a 4x2's tires with a wider rim+tire combo it still won't look like the 4x4. The 4x4's leafs are mounted on top of the rear axle. The 4x2's are under it. The front suspension looks different too.
redorange is right. 255/70s will fit on the stock rims. But in case you encounter any problems with your tires the manufacturer will void your warranty. My 2c

Thanks sir, di ko alam yun ahh
so kaya pala lower talaga ang tayo ng 4x2 kaysa 4x4...On the suspension part wala na siguro akong magawa dun.. But my concern as of now is ang 265 tires in a 6j rims.
Hayy.. If only afford ko ang 4x4 sana la nang problema na ganito.. pero sayang din ang 400T na price difference..

I have no regrets with 4x2 since my primary consideration before chosing the truck is the use for highway drive, and i have an old 4x4 w/c i use for heavy farming. Capable din kumain ng buhay na dmax, strada, hilux, ranger, atbpa suv sa highway kahit 4x2 lang sya.
Lowered nga axle below the leaves, bawiin monalang sa engine mod pra maging more than 174hp.Based from manual only difference is the turbo, 4x4having water cooler..or.wmi nalang..hehe

Wala namang rubbing if turned while stand still di pa napatakbo Im still deciding to get the tire or not...
Having a 7j rims is best option ang expensive
If lowered ang stance ng 4x2 may advantage din yan on low center of gravity sa high speed runs.
Another thing I notice is the lag on acceleration from stand still with 1st gear, have you notice this too? but once it starts rolling malakas talaga
I can attest that these tablet types don't leave any marks nor is it harsh on the washer system. I...
