How do you like the new look 09 compared to the 05-08 models? ClubFrontier huh? Maybe I'll check there, no Titan swap for me too expensive. I just got an email with the plans and measurements to make my own winch bumper, since the 9 month wait is too long. How's Calgary? I'm trying to get a transfer to Canada and Calgary is one of the places I'm looking at right now. Lot of Pinoys there?

09 is nice pero hirap mag palit ng stereo are you planning to get the 09? bakit nga pala ang pathfinder pumps out 270 hp vs 261 hp ng xterra with the same engine? sa exhaust lang ba to? I read somewhere in the middle east that the VQ40 pumps around 290hp stock.

Could be a different intake design or just a fluke on the eeninge they tested with the Pathfinder. As for the Middle East it could be different rating/testing system or emissions or even better gas. PM me if you have any questions about the truck either here or in thenewx since I'm in both everyday. Ooops OT already.
BTT
Can you guys post pics of your trucks? Anybody got it set up for off road?

January 30th, 2009 09:52 AM #655For those experiencing black smoke during sudden acceleration, try cleaning maf sensor. My casa diagnosed dirty sensor causing wrong voltage to computer-after cleaning, smokes gone even on steep uphills.

January 30th, 2009 09:33 PM #658Welcome to Navara thread *kurisukaara. see my post#574 on page 29. You will need hitch receiver, pintle hook adapter(2inch rise), and pintle hook.. Twice kona nagamit ang hook with a cement mixer and mobile generator, very functional sa jobsite.

We tested that with the 4x4 club of the Philippines... surprisingly, it did pretty well... there's a lot of power and the 4x4 system did fine crawling up steep gradients. The only problem is the mild tires and the low ground-clearance.
And the irritating electronic throttle... pop the clutch too suddenly and the engine dies as the throttle shuts closed to protect the clutch. I think Kits killed it a half-dozen times when we were trying to make a 15-point U turn in a clearing halfway down Maarat. :hysterical:
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Not sure if the ones there have it but the Frontier, Pathfinder, Xterra, and Titan here come with WOT restriction until about 35mph or 60km/h. Owners are using after market tuners to remove the restriction among others. I would presume they would use it there also since the diesel has more torque down low than the VQ40 V6.
