poor guy.. well its his fault at 18km odo he offroad at frasier island.. then he bottomed hard on something that front under skirt wont bent if he hasnt impacted underneath.. my guess a sand or rock push in tru that under plate and hit his fan thus shattering the fan inside and making more damage to the engine...

meron na ba nag lagay ng front under skid plate dito? since mababa kasi navara dapat ata ako maglagay nito..

anyway found this navara running at more than 200kph

For those who are interested here are some vendors that are used by Nissan enthusiast here in the US.

Very good with suspension as the owner also owns a Frontier, Xterra, and Titan. He even sells parts needed to do a Titan swap. Also does custom orders depending on what you are looking for in suspension work. Has other parts not in the website. You can email for what product are new, I know he has 2.5" coilovers now from Icon, SAW, Radflo, and King. Most of all he has great customer service.

Sells bumpers and skids. Although there is a long waiting list for the products, last I heard it was a 9 month wait for bumpers as they are custom made.

On 2H, the Navara's torque at 2,000rpm feels anemic compared to the Dmax's pull at the same rpm range. I'm not an expert on engines so I'm guessing it's because the Dmax has a bigger displacement.
However, when doing highway driving with the Navara, shifting gears at 3,000rpm and above, it's pure acceleration bliss. The close gear ratios of the Navara really comes handy when having "fun" with turbocharged 3.0 displacement vehicles on clear highways.
Also at 3rd gear at 3,500rpm, mausok din po Navara namin. I could see the smoke through my side mirror even though tinted windows ko. Could it be mga sirs due to the diesel quality we have here in the Philippines?

Anyone who has experienced this annoying high-pitched metal-metal grinding noise coming from the back of the Navara? It happens usually when I'm driving in rainy weather. Our Nav's odo reads 11,000kms and I started to hear the noise intermittently from 6,000kms onwards. I don't feel any drag with the brakes. It's audible when driving really slow and disappears at speeds over 50kph. The sound is like you're dragging a large, heavy tin can below the truck. I've told the mechanic supervisor at the casa and they're just as clueless as me. They had a mechanic sit with me on a test drive. But it was a sunny day and the problem didn't show up. They'll put something, like an insulation on the underchassis on my next oil change.
Thank you mga sirs for your inputs.

High pitch metal grinding sound? Is it like a whining sound? Have them check your rear differential I know some guys that have had problems with theirs and needed it replaced. The RP market uses the M226 and they have had problems with that to an extent. If they do check make sure they note it in their computers so if a problem accurs in the future they will replace it since the problem initial problem accured in the warranty period.

*Fierari- I'm under the same name for TheNewX and Xterraownerclub. I see that you have one also. What year and model? I have a 2005 SE 4x4, in the process now of trying to get my coilovers from PRG along with shackles and AAL for the rear. Hopefully be able to lift it 2.5"-3' with the combo. Where are you located?
