Sir adz, what HU are you planning to install?.. I dont think HU has any connection with CPU box.

Congrats and welcome sir magmamanok..That could be a carbon buildup common to diesel engines. Try soak-flushing exhaust pipe up to muffler with water while revving the engine..
Regarding Aircon noise, casa is about to open my AC system maybe next week, balitaan ko po kayo kung ano findings..Nakasakay akosa other Navara walang ingay ang aircon..

Hi navara owners, may nakapagtry na ba dito maginstall ng 20" wheels sa navara? if meron pa share naman po ng info... we are planning on having our navara upgraded to 20" wheels... salamat po in advanced sa mga magbibigay ng information...

Ang nakita ko pa lang po na Nav na naka 20" naka 255/50r20s. Mukhang nilagyan ng spacers, nakalabas na kasi ng konti yung tires.

Try backreading, i think somebody here already made suspension lifts and bigger tires..Also visit wheel shops, they are expert on different makes and they can tell if your desired size will have problems like rubbing. Saan po ang route nyo, mukhang malalim ang niraragasang pothole ng nav nyo? hehe.. So far stock ako and no issues sa sayad ng pangilalim considering gravel-paved ang farm and shoreline..Basta alalay lang sa malalim na lubak, kayang kaya nya..

salamat sir whistler, i think next year na namin papaupgrade ung nav for 20" wheels... sa ngayon naka 275 with stock wheels ung samin... oks naman ang feel... another question, may nakapagpakabit na ba dito ng cb-733 na rollbars for navara? kung meron na po, papost naman po ng pics... salamat po ulit...

Sir if ever makita nyo yun navarra ko Red Crimson Plate ZSD-637 baka ma notice mo. Route ko po Pasig to Pililia Rizal. so sa antipolo dun lumalabas ang usok..

Sir re. Black smoke ibabalik ko sa Dealer ko for them to check out.. 1st post ko po sir kasi bago pa navarra ko last Oct. ko tradin ko yun pajero ko na 1999 fieldmaster, good deal po yun kasi tradin value ko for my 1st car 600k.

Just checking out kung meron nakapag encounter nito. Good thing as early as 500Kms i noticed it and the dealer have the record of concern. Sana palitan nila unit if ever may problema.

Now m at my 3000milage parehas pa din po, may black smoke kapag nag oovertake and uphill. sudden burst lang naman po.

Na-encounter ko din black smoke during sudden engine revving but im sure it soot buildup kasi kita ko sa sidemirror bumabagsak kaagad..meaning its heavy particulate not a gas.even when parked, you can try heavy revving at makikita mo ang initial black soot..i remember my L200, pinalagyan kona ng gripo sa exhaust manifold mapadali lang ang linis para pumasa sa emmision test..thats one hell of a smokey engine..

Guys planning to get 4x2 this december or january.. what are the things I should look for a Bnew navara? yung frontier ko dati hinatid lang sa bahay kaya nung na diskobre ko ang clutch may problema di ko na ma palitan kasi nakuha ko na.. ni re repair na lang nila .. I know there is an issue with the aircon noise.. pwede ko ba tangihan and mag demand ng another unit incase ma detect ko na maingay na ang aircon before driving out sa casa?

It's a new vehicle, why would it have carbon build up this early?

Test the car before signing the delivery receipt or release form.

RE: black smoke: It might be dirty diesel pushing through the fuel filter... try changing the fuel filter and patronizing a different station. Some have suggested that a good hard revving will clean out the filter, but I'd prefer to remove the old one first.

Other CRDis smoke if you fill up at the wrong place. The quality of local diesel is pathetic.
