Sir haihuat, grease po yan nasa hinge. Leave it at is nalang kasi normal lang un may excess grease for lubrication and metal protection.

Up kolang odo clocked 4.5kms and mejo nag improve ang fc sa hw mga 12-14km/l. Still stock and no problem so far after almost 2.5months daily drive, long drive, and farming..

sir BoyBakal, the spalshng in the mud was taken along d way to strawberry farm, makinis p un paint pero ansaap mag photoshoot kasi.. Pagbalik kosa bicol nagkaroon ng konting squeaking sa leaf spring because of accumulated soil..then after pressure washing squeakings gone..hehe. Un chrome sa door- protection lang kasi doon nagkakaroon ng scratches kadalasan.

Anyone tried using water-methanol injection? meron daw added power at engine benefits..I wonder waht will happen kung sa YD25ddti(high) ikabit ang device since the output is already 174hp..aabot kaya ng 200hp? Sabi kasi nila maxed-out na daw ang chip ng engine yd25ddti(high)?.Considering 2.5litre lang un engine, kaya kaya o mpapantayan kaya ang 3.2litre 4m41 ng strada??

Hi guys! Im reserving for my Nissan Navara 4x2 this week. But I'm debating whether to get the MT or AT.

Any suggestions/comparison on fuel efficiency, performance, etc?

And, is it safe to shift to bigger tires? and how will it affect the fuel consumption?

    Thanks!

Sir Wongjitsu, welcome po sa thread and you made a wise decision in selecting Navara. Being a 4x2 owner here, i would suggest M/T if youre into long drive. Aside from saving more fuel, you could make use of the 6gears for power distribution during hauling.. Also i find M/T more fun to drive.. If youre going to use it for city driving and more on stop-and-go traffic, A/T would do the job without stressing your foot.. Re:FC, M/T is always the winner, but would still depend on your driving habits.

Im also planning to change tires after 15k kms - this what my s/a told me inorder to keep the suspension warranty(need to double verify), and right now im scouting for a stock 4x4 tires..sino kaya meron spare set of 4x4 stock rim n tires jan??.pm me plss.. hehe

I think theres no prob changing tires as long as you keep the factory specified diameter as stated on the tire-info sticker(posted at driver side door), and width should have no rubbing issues during full-lock steering. Changing the width would constitute to more fuel because of more friction/contact patch on the road, but much stable during cornering. Hydroplaning i think is the only negative safety issue with wider tires but i guess its not applicable to our truck because of the heavier weight.

When are you going to get the truck and what color? Super excited na po siguro kayo at madami narin mods naisip..hehe.. enjoy your new ride and dont forget to share your experience with Navara!...
