May 17th, 2008 02:04 PM #363Sir rolex, optional po ang tire lock pero para sakin necessity ito to protect the investment.

Share konarin just happen to mouse over this site while searching for bullbar, Nissan Frontier Navara service manual http://pdftown.com/PDF-Nissan-Fronti...ce-Manual.html US version yata pero might be useful. FYI
My Navara concern (fluttering noise on engine) had been resolved by my dealer in Bicol though I do not received any technical report from the Service Department. It took a month for the part to arrived. I guess it's the turbo-charger or part of it have been replaced.
No concerns still at this time and happily using the vehicle. Went to Manila for 3 times already and back and no big issues so far.

saw that vid already before. im also wondering why the rpm is veeery high before it reaches the speed of 100kph or 190kph. i asked drey about it but didn't give me a proper answer
he said "alangan naman low rpm"
someone also told me that a relative of his katropa owns a navara and he said that lutang na sya at high speed like 180kph. same as you said sir fedor, nakakatakot na daw pag high speed sya

Hi to all!
Just an observation...Navara is a truck, your workhorse, family car, business car and not a race car. We do not have to expect too much from the vehicle in terms of speed. I know that the engine is capable of doing the figures but you have to consider the place as well. But where in the Philippines you can drive 180 kph?!? Expressways maybe... but here are these jeepneys, buses delivery trucks side by side.
I would say that it you go for speed, get a race/fast car not a rear-bed equipped metal. Well maybe I am not just a speed freak...
Get a Ford Mustang GT or a Cobra and feel the power...
Anyone who needs a quote if how much it will cost you???

May 24th, 2008 08:54 PM #369Curious lang siguro sila sa result kung i-race ang navara sa strada or ranger, pero palagay ko mas matulin parin navara if based on engine displacement - say for example a base model navara 4x2 against strada glx, or a base model 4x4 against strada 4x4 gls 2.5..hehe Was able to reach 170kph pero dpa sagad pedal, how much more kaya ang 4x4?
Sir Kosak, safe po ba yung 245 sa stock 16x6 rims natin? up to ilan pwedeng width? Im planning to upgrade the rubber pero dont know kung ano width, or i'L just get the ones on the 4x4(255/70 on a 16x7 rims)-may rubbing issues kaya? Cant find similar thread re navara tires..

from bigbigcar by carlocaraddict:
I had a chance to drive the Nissan Navara on and on the dirt road last week. Here are some of my initial impressions:
1. ride is great! the suspension just embraces those bumps and craters. Ride is better than the Ranger and Strada.
2. interior is not as car like as the strada but build is good.
3. space inside is generous.
4. its huuuuuugggeee obviously.
5. it has a long throw shifter but hey! it is 6-speed!
6. it has lots of torque!
We hope we can get a unit soon for our evaluation.
my impression: add-on kay carlo--
kahit birit mo to 5000rpm(red line) walang smoke-screen left...and accelerates close as the focus accelerates....
the AT is seamless, if you're not carefull, you might be rolling to hit something or someone...
2-types pala ung yd25 na nilabas..2wd has a weaker version...
rear legroom--well almost the same with......the smaller Dmax! its a wonder why the strada has a more spacious leg room..
power driver window has only auto down!
no rear window vent found on the strada...
well the bed liner and step board came in free..
me i found the stradas ride much softer than the navarra..therefore navarra is firmer than the strada.
extra: now i know how the 1999 converted JDM serena with YD25DDTi 4-AT would perform.. makes me think of owning one if i could not afford a navarra
