Sir. as far as I'm concern about disc brakes to the rear....napakadulas niya while immerse sa water..especially this rainy season at kapag umabot sa disc brake natin....yun yung past experience ko sa oto ko po dati.....kaya every time na may baha..at lubog gulong...kailangan drive very slow, press the brake pedal intermittently (para may kagat) and extra careful po tayo sa pedestrian....though its very nice

nangyayari ba sa umaga pag malamig pa engine? sa akin ganito problem ko eversince 40,000 km pms nung nagpalit sila trans and diff fluids. pag hindi nai-warm-up ng maayos allday problem ko na yan hard shifting to 2nd gear. kaya hanga't malamig double clutch muna saka i try not to shift too much until na-attain na optimal engine temp

Bro sorry magulo pala post ko. I was referring to le_stat's wanting sharper acceleration. I'm really happy with the chip I had installed. Feels like a 4x4 hehe.

I just saw the slotted rotor and thought it might be a little better at getting rid of little trapped stones than the one with holes. While we're talking about brakes, pareho lang ba yung brakes ng 4x2 sa 4x4? I might need bigger brakes dahil dun sa power gain.

Guys magpa chip na din kayo. PM me, I'll get you a discount. Hehe.

ano chip mo? yung mga meron nakakabit sa mga injector or sa ecu lang?

a little more convincing and i might get the one with connections sa injectors. Mura lang naman magparating neto.

got a chance to race my navara against navara...

this happens this week when i was going back to davao from tagum. as i was cruising between 80-100kph, there was this black navara (4x4) that suddenly overtakes me. as i did not test the power of my nav against a fellow nav i decided to tail him so he could not gain enough distance. (in my opinion, he too wants to test his nav against mine base on the way he drives.)

we both wait for that long stretch of straight road near carmen, then i was right. when he saw the road was clear he gunned down his pedal and i quickly followed. the road belongs to us at that time. with just a couple of seconds he was following me and i keep gaining more and more distance from him.

good thing my speed limiter was very cooperative at the time.

if you (owner of that black navara that i raced) read this post, it is impossible for your nav to catch mine. my nav is chipped. probably your thinking that mine has no match since it is sporting an 18 inch tires and yours is stock, then your wrong...because I DON'T FIGHT ON EQUAL TERMS.

By DIY, we can remove yung stock ng box ng filter natin...until sa neck before dun sa MAF sensor natin by cutting dahil molded yung pipe to the box? (sayang nga lang)...Ung cone air filter we can do fabrication for the mounting at the same time heat shield na rin.....by a "tupperware" (courtesy by 4x4ph)...but I suggest to use fiberglass materials (attn: sir cyped )...box din..pero open type pa din yung top at front..the side can block or use as heat insulation...from the hot air around the engine...para medyo ma-minimize heat and dapat ma-suck ng air filter at least medyo malamig na hangin....use elbow pipe and clamp to connect the cone type filter...and maganda dapat mounting to avoid vibration and irritating sound...additional hp for the nav...comment po? thanks

*sir OJ..btw po...since there will be cutting to be involved probably...and we can't return our box and hose to its original...buy na lang ng original surplus...para balik original....by that time na i-for sale natin ang nav natin...ok pa rin...para balik stock pa rin air filter intake system natin....

di naman sakin yan nag susuggest lang ako lol stillen ata is one of the most expensive rotors for fronty. according to titan forums may vibration daw sa pedal ang mga crossdrilled i think ill be sticking to OEM's for a while until its shot.

if your going to go with a larger rotor your going to change a lot of stuff = $$$$ pictures above are just bolt on replacement to stock

Mga sir admin since namemention lagi po sa thread about air filter issue ng navara...add ko lang po ito additional info...

K&N air filter cross reference chart for Navara:

k&n part no. 332080 = Nissan part no. 16546 - EB300 (Nissan counterpart) - not our part no.

K&n part no. ???? = Nissan part no. 16546 - EB70A (OEM part no.) - seems they don't have any available k&n air filter considering the cross reference to our OEM part no.

For my actual measuring to our OEM filter (EB70A) 7.375 x 10.375 inches but the K&N product code 33-2080 (EB300) size of 7.063 x 11.063 inches you can see the discrepancy?

Since panel type air filter suggested to be 0-0 or well fit not even 2-4 mm discrepancy...unlike round filters...ok lang daw na very minimal yung discrepancy 2-4mm....

Hope this helps...kaya wait, wait lang po tayo....
