*OJ - suggestion ko na wish list:
1.) Air Intake tubings and Conical filter
Then eto important upgrades... only when you hack the speed limiter. Kapag hindi na hack speed limiter, no use upgrades na ito:
1.) Hack the speed limiter
2.) Steinbauer Chip
3.) Upgrade to 3 inch exhaust

July 20th, 2010 01:49 PM #3402* Sir Le stat...parang nakita ko sa Malaysian navara club yung modification na metal tubing para sa air intake? maganda talaga siyang tingnan..pero conductor pa rin po ng heat...yung metal? it might affect siguro yung temperature ng air going in the filter...which I think we need cold air rather than hot air? just my opinion lang po...
Stock Air Flow vs. High Performance Cold Air Intake Systems
A basic fact: auto engines need air and its oxygen to run. Air passes through a dirt-trapping filter in the engine compartment first, then flows through an apparatus to the engine.
Most fuel injected vehicles don't have space to mount an air filter right on top of the engine like they're positioned in carbureted cars and trucks. So engineers find another spot under the hood to tuck the air filter, then use tubing to route the air that passes through it to the engine.
Stock tubing is most often designed to make the air movement quiet, without a lot of regard to optimum airflow. Less air to the engine means less engine power. One solution -- a cold air intake system that replaces the stock filter and tubing with parts designed to get more air into the engine. More air in, more power out.
Cold air intake systems usually have a box or divider that separates the air filter from the heat of the engine and allows the system to capture cooler air coming through the grill or fender. That's a better option than grabbing the warm air under the hood, because the colder the air the more dense it is -- and dense air lets the fuel injectors supply more fuel to the engine to enhance horsepower.

eto akin: (in exact order)
1.) Slotted Rotors
2.) Limited Slip Diff (or locker)
3.) Hack the Limiter
yung rotors important if your're pushing the limits a lot of the time. the judder of heat warped rotors will surely annoy the hell outta you.
yung LSD or better yet a locker - yung 4x4 ok na rin LSD nun kesa wala. pero a bit more 'limited' sana para less wheel spin on hard launches. the tire smoke is pretty impressive to look at, kaya lang you lose a couple of seconds on that spin move. imagine putting all that upgraded power into a single tire of a 4x2...
* Le_stat ok naman yung upgrades mo kahit hindi ma-hack ang limiter. you'll more likely be using it on acceleration naman, like stoplight drag race, overtaking on two lane roads, hauling goods or a trailer. on the other hand, nav has more power in reserve that by just taking out the limiter a 4x2 could do 200km/h me thinks?

good day nav sirs! i have a prob po- my HORN BUTTON (ung malaking takip sa manibela pang pip'pip) is loose, i think, coz every time i go on rough road eh kumakalog siya. and every time i press the horn button, it feels like plastic to plastic ung nag kokontak, matigas at tumutunog , wala cya ung "rubber" feel sana unlike other cars.. or is this just normal for our nav?..
need assistance po if theres a fix for this prob.. i told nissan bwt it during my 1st 1k pero the technician told me na parehas lng daw ung prob ko wd other navs or tinatamad lng cguro. tnx po.
