February 12th, 2008 11:39 PM #271Hi guys share ko lang. My dad bought a navara. It took 4 weeks before we got our unit. It was a 4x2 A/T suppose to be a silver navara but because of the shortage of stocks here in Manila we have to get the red unit. Medyo konti pa talaga ang stocks dito sa Manila but is you go sa Cebu or other provinces ang dami. Complete pa lahat ng variant. My dad is staying in cebu right now. At first we he's plan is to buy it there pero nung nag inquire siya wala pa daw available. Then we tried here. Sa Nissan Quezon Ave. kami nag punta. During that time 2 unit lang ung meron sila. 4x4 RED na M/T and 4x4 Silver A/T. Dahil sa maganda ung specs and porma nag reserve agad ang father ko. They only ask P5,000 for reservation and guaranteed us na may dadating daw na shipments ng navara last week ng January. When my dad returned to Cebu and passed by the nissan dealer there.
I was fortunate to brake-in the unit to La Union last Saturday. We drove 783 km manila to la union and back with 5 adults consuming 41.35 liters and I tried not to do more than 80kph. Before the trip our agent told us that the navara averages 20km/li. Which is almost reality from my experience. We also have a 97 pajero which only do 7 to 8 km/li and a 96 civic that only do 12km/li max. The navara on our drive did 18km/li.

Malabo para saken ang 18km/l.
I just purchased a 4X4 version(don't believe yung sinasabi nilang "short/walang stock!") I barely manage 9-10km per liter. I just drove from Bicol to Manila to attend a wedding. Consumption was like driving a 3.0L diesel. Speed was ok... fast, but not the fastest 2.5CRDi I've driven or owned. Big letdown: rear drumbrakes, bouncy leaf springs, inadequte/lacking interior. Oh, lying sales reps and staff!Waiting list daw 2 months kaya nag purchase nalang ako sa province.

I am not 100% sure if you will have rubbing issues with tires that size...My truck has 265/75r16 tires which are stock, however truck I have is the NISMO edition which has the upgrading suspension package which includes raising it up a bit over the other models... the SE edition for instance has 265/70r16 tires...

That should fit I know guys running 285 tires with only a melt mod on the plastic wheel well. Just heat it up with a blow dryer until soft and mold to the shape you want so it won't hit the tires. Besides that measurement is also smaller than 265/75/16.
