Hi guys.. I hope i could join your club & participate in this forum as soon as i get my 4X4 LE galaxy black navara, you call it 'nav' pala on this thread .. We call the Montero naman 'monty' on our thread..Anyway way to wrap things up, aside from the aircon issue on the navara what are the other issues regarding the navara?


I was on a dilemma having a hard time choosing what pick up truck to get..The Strada was not an option for me because i wanted something different coz i already have its brother, the Montero Sport..At first i liked the D-MAX but i realized that the engine specs where not that convincing to me coz it has the lowest HP & Torque in its class. 4 days ago i went to check on the 09 facelifted 4X2 ranger and was impressed by the torque of its engine, i had my SA compute on the 4x2 variant i was about to get and he gave me a good deal so i was already set on getting the ranger.. When i got home my brother's friend went to our house using a 4X4 navara then that was the time he really convinced me to get the navara instead. He let me test drive his navara & compare to all the pick up trucks ive checked on..I was amazed by its power, strongest pick up in its class in terms of HP & torque.. Now i know what pick up truck to get na, My decision is firm on the navara coz i already paid for reservation so that there's no lookin back na

good choice jpg! 2nd choice ko tlaga nav kaso medyo pricey siya and for the ranger 3rd choice ko macho din tignan specially jud new model or yung wildtrack. same taste tayo.

Quick question mga sirs, pag nilagay ko sa reverse then pag inapakan ko na yung gas may sudden jerk yung pick up, parang kang may nababangga, ganito din po ba yung sa inyo nung bago pa? kala ko tuloy naatrasan ko yung maid namin at nasagasaan ko

Second batch i think. Baka naka auto-climate control yung sayo?? pero 4x4 also have the same ACU dials, not so sure though baka may changes sa newer models.. Can you post a pic of your AC console just to compare??

Also question to new navara owners, do you get the alloy wheels spare-tire or steel rims na??

oo nga, tayo lang ata naka blue....
iba pala yang nebular blue mo sa majestic blue ko.
First choice ko kasi yung crimson red, kaso by the time na mag order nako wala pang available na red noon, eh pag hinintay ko pa yung bagong model na darating, yung may MP3 but steel rim yung reserve, so yung available na majestic blue yung old version pa which is naka mags but no MP3.

Ok lang huggiesxl. Thanks for telling us. Sana lang wala ng gumaya ke somar. (Galit Jesus!) But if you're saying that he might get one in the future and he's SERIOUS about it, then I guess it's ok... but that's just me.

I actually didn't want to pay attention to this anymore as it might catch the "interest" of other pranksters.

Question (I hope you don't mind): How do we validate the authenticity of the nav owners here?

sir huggies, may 1 year na nav nyo diba? sakin kasi 3 months palang. siguro nung 2nd month nya, nawala na yung "krrggg" sound, and at the same time, tyaka ko napansin yung stink nya... may connection kaya yun? yun iba po, may "krrggg" sound pa din ba nav nyo everytime you open the aircon?

pasingit ha? I tried it several times pero wala naman "krrggg" sound sakin. Meron ako narinig na "brrrrr"... nilamig na si Rico J na driver ko.
