Bakit naman D40?

"Nissan Frontier is the name for the D22 and D40 generations of Nissan pickup trucks in the North, Central and South America and the Philippines. The line was started in 1998, and its immediate predecessor is the D21 series. [SIZE=4]In Europe, Australia and elsewhere, there have been three generations of trucks known as the Nissan Navara since 1986[/SIZE]. The first was the D21, considered to be a small pick up. After more than 10 years with the D21, the second generation Navara was manufactured from 1998 and went until 2005 which was classed as a compact sized pick up. It was replaced with the bigger, taller, longer D40, which Nissan now considers to be a mid-size pick up truck.(yung pick up po natin ngayon)

The Navara gets it's name from the Navarre region of northern Spain, and the European version is built at the Nissan factory in Barcelona.

Kaya po sir naisip ko din and also to suggest the name D40 or any name with it, but the downside sir, with my suggested name, ( naisip ko din lang po ngayon) is magiging limited ang mga members ng club to just the new models. anyways d pa naman po dumadating sa point na yun, what is important is we could fill up the empty spaces sa list..

Hi guys.. I hope i could join your club & participate in this forum as soon as i get my 4X4 LE galaxy black navara, you call it 'nav' pala on this thread .. We call the Montero naman 'monty' on our thread..Anyway way to wrap things up, aside from the aircon issue on the navara what are the other issues regarding the navara?


I was on a dilemma having a hard time choosing what pick up truck to get..The Strada was not an option for me because i wanted something different coz i already have its brother, the Montero Sport..At first i liked the D-MAX but i realized that the engine specs where not that convincing to me coz it has the lowest HP & Torque in its class. 4 days ago i went to check on the 09 facelifted 4X2 ranger and was impressed by the torque of its engine, i had my SA compute on the 4x2 variant i was about to get and he gave me a good deal so i was already set on getting the ranger.. When i got home my brother's friend went to our house using a 4X4 navara then that was the time he really convinced me to get the navara instead. He let me test drive his navara & compare to all the pick up trucks ive checked on..I was amazed by its power, strongest pick up in its class in terms of HP & torque.. Now i know what pick up truck to get na, My decision is firm on the navara coz i already paid for reservation so that there's no lookin back na

As far as other concerns about noises or smell hindi naman po siguro lahat naka encounter ng ganito,but I can only speak for my self and 2 of my relatives with the same unit, so far yung kanila almost a year na din wala naman, mine is almost 2 weeks so far wala naman problem sa A/C and smell.
ayan na, kaya po kelangan na talaga natin ng group with the growing numbers of Navara owners and soon to be one to discuss these sorts of things
