nav owners! after observing, medyo may stink pa din nav ko. gusto ko sana macompare sa ibang navara kung same smell lang kasi sabi sa casa nag compare sila pareho lang daw. so ginawa ko, pumunta ko sa family friend namin na may navara din. kahit sya sabi nya parang lulom yung amoy tapos check ko yung sakanya walang stink. tsk. di ko na alam gagawin ko. balik kaya ko sa casa tapos sabihin ko compare ko sa nav nila sa showroom?

boys may kabig ba mga nav niyo? sinca nakuha ko ito meron na ag takbo ka aroung 20-30mts kakabig na sa kanan. taos pag idirecho ko yung manubela na straight position (as in pantay yung logo ng nissan) kabig agad sa kanan. so para dumirecho takbo ko dapat medyo paling sa kaliwa yung manubela.

pinaayos ko na ito sa crvi nung nag pa 1k pms ako wala pa din nagawa. sa servitek kaya paayos? i need your opinion guys! thanks!

sorry sa mga ibang words sira pala keyboard ko ayaw pumidot maigi ibang keys. hehe. papano nag type ako di nakatingin. anyway, maiintindihan niyo naman siguro hehe.

*pjpike - as far as i know 5k kms ang casa warranty for steering alignment (camber,caster,centering,etc), they consider this as consumable part.

My steering problem (negative camber) showed up after 20k kms which was not corrected by casa dahil daw may squeaking sound ang front suspension ko. They troubleshoot the squeaking for 2-days and didnt cured the sound (swapped shocks, tighten or overthighten - nabilog ang hex nut). After travelling 650 kms this is what i found http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...arloosenut.jpg they forgot to tighten the sway bar thats why sound is even worse during my travel.. After tightening the bolt, i found the hood striker has no more insulation. Quick DIY using 3M electrical tape solved the sound problem casa was lookin for 2-days. These are some of my horror stories with the stealership so if i were you, avoid them if you can or if its out of warranty. Get the parts you want to replace and have it installed somewher. BTW, Camber was correctd at Servitek G.Araneta - my highly recommended shop, you will see the job and personnel knows what they are doing.. They have the alignment database for D40 when checked with the computer. hth

How to run a wire from engine bay to cabin of D40 Navara

Share kolang, i rectified my backing camera problem(got busted 2wice)-found out the installer wired directly to live(green wire)

thats why camera is hot even when key is off. Original wiring was from console, run to the sidings, then through the backseat-theres this drafter ducts (hole with rubber flaps as one-way air outlet) the wires was run from this hole to the rear of the bed. Door closing sound was not as solid as before when they run this wire thru the drafter ducts so i routed the wire to the engine bay following the other wires going to the bed. Also installed additional grounding wire for the front console, extra RCA cable and 2-#14 auto wire, 1-as spare. Wired the HU with relay and manual switch so that i can turn on the rear camera even when vehicle tranny is not on reverse

sir pjpike, sakin din kumakabig pa right kahit straight yung steering wheel. inayos na daw nung casa as in 0 daw pero wala pa din nung kinuwa ko nung friday. same as my aircon.

sir jatcos, yung kahit saang servitek po kaya recommend nyo? or talagang dun lang sa araneta? in that case, any landmark? araneta coliseum po ba? thanks po.

ano na po kaya pwede kong gawin na action about dun sa aircon ko? naglagay na ko charcoal sa ilalim ng drivers seat nung saturday afternoon. pag check ko kanina ganun pa din yung stink. and as stated in my previous post, malaki difference nung stink ng nav ko sa nav ng friend ko.

maybe i'm just exagerating about the smell? some of friends say, it smells like brand new but majority says it stinks.

[SIZE=2]Problem with casa is u wouldnt know if they are really doing the job right. Kung matapat ka pa sa apprentice ayun pinagpractisan pa ang sasakyan mo. Sa dami kasi ng nagpapagawa wala quality ang job nila kaya mas ok sa labas magpagawa. Kahit saan casa at kahit anong make ng car ganyan based from my experience(mabibilang molang sa daliri ang hindi at yun yung outside MM pa) kaya paglabas ng casa scrutinize mo kung ano ginawa nila and demand for the parts replaced dapat take home din yun. Sa sobrang busy ng car owners, talagang minsan mapapalampas mo ang ginawa nila. Usually kapag tinawag sayo ng casa ready for pickup na at nasa releasing bay na, hindi kana makaporma kung ano ano ginawa at kung may mapuna kaman backjob nanaman, hirap pabalikbalik sa casa.. Hindi bale na mahal basta high quality ang outcome at hindi ka na babalik.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=2]Re stinky aircon, amoy socks na basa ba or bagoong?? Fungal infection siguro yan possible madumi nga evaporator or stocked-up drain due to accumulation of dirt..Kung sana malilinisan ng Zonrox or mabilad sa UV ng araw patay ang fungus na yan. Kung hindi maibaba ang evap ng casa try to neutralize by charcoal method and lemon scent car freshener. Also another non intrusive way is to spray Lysol or equivalent anti bacterial/fungal chemical in the air inlet(below the wiper) while running the blower (cover the outlet baka matalsikan ang upholstery mo and wipe excess fluids)..Or DIY option is to remove front console so that you will have full access to evaporator..Believe me madali lang baklasin ang console, i did it for 4 times na siguro without leaving a scratch. BTW wala filter yun AC natin kaya kapag nabubuksan ko ang console vina-vacuum kona at chncheck ko drain hose kung hindi barado-(pede mo sungkitin ito with wire from the outside just below the fuel sedimentator). Another suspect is a wet carpet due to leaking drain, try to check these..Sana maayos na ang aircon mo.

question lang po. nung sunday po kasi sobrang baha, linusob ko yung navara medyo may kataasan yung flood, naglakas loob ako kasi alam kong kaya tapos may nakita pa kong trooper tyaka pajero kaya lakas loob lang ako. hehe. then paguwi ko tiningnan ko and kinapa ko yung matting basa yung ilalim and basa din yung carpet sa front passengers side. pano ko po macoconfirm kung pinasok ng baha yung nav ko? kasi nung nasa baha ako, pinapakapa ko sa mga sakay ko yung ilalim kung pinasok, di naman daw. kaya ayun po. pano po malalaman kung pinasok nga ng baha yung nav ko? possible din na sa ilalim nanggaling? not sure kung dahil sa payong yung basa. eto po yung video.
