Nissan Frontier Navarra [ARCHIVED]

Just an update:

My Navara now is 1 year and 4 months and still happy with the performance. No major defect and its near 25K now.

I am planning to install a roof-rack originally for the 2009 Ford Explorer Sportrac. I had it tried via adobe graphics and it looks good to me. I am a bit minimalist in terms of accessorizing and would install mostly functional ones.

Please check if this looks good... need 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. opinion please.

The color choices are black, silver, and chrome.

Based from his experience, prices were pegged a thousand peso a piece at the atleast still to be "ORDERED" from their "SUPPLIERS"! Yeah, right!

It seems that the we are few, but recent sightings of NAVS on the road may very well spike the demand from these "SUPPLIERS". Security etchings and fiberglass covers will be great.

An observation on my broken mirrors though - a newbie thief may have caused it to break. Unexperienced hands damaged the mirrors before he even got to remove the plastic frames

Lesson learned - I know how to remove/replace my SIDE VIEW MIRRORS! HE HE HE . . .

P.S.
Called NISSAN, the side mirrors is at Php 740 SRP a piece while the assembly is at Php 14,450 SRP, excluding labor costs. NYARRR ! ! !

Sir, saan ka nagtanong ng P740/pc ng mirror lang? sa CRVI ako and they said assembly lang daw ang nasa kanila which costs P7,500+ ang right side lang. i'll just buy from your dealer. mirror din lang ang ninakaw sakin. thanks!

*fedor - bat kaya ganun? sentra namin ganun din pero recently lang nagkaganun afer 10 years... 4x2 din sakin eh bagong bago pa ganun kagad... lalong dumami pa reklamo ko simula nung nakuwa ko ulit. tsk.

*julez - yes sir, parang bulok nga yung amoy and mas matagal na ngayon bago mawala... sasabihin ko na lang sakanila yun pag nadala ko na ulit... pa appointment pa ulit eh... pareho pala tayo na sa U.N ave. yung casa... sana wala talagang defect yung sayo... hulaan ko po kulay ng nav mo, blue? or black? haha!

any insight on my windshield problem? kahit malinis na malinis pag wiper di natatanggal yung moist, konting konti lang... di naman siguro dahil maluwag yung wiper or disaligned na dahil bagong bago pa si navara... hmmm...

Try Yen or Youngbros at Banawe. I'm not sure if they are cheaper though. minsan mas mahal sila sa casa. Strange.

Malas mo naman bro, pero from past experience nangyayari din yan sa ibang brands, natatapat lang sa mga nakalusot sa QC. If you get mad enough and are assertive enough I'm sure your casa will address your problems. Di rin kasi maganda para sa kanila yung bad press about their dealership. Medyo malayo nga lang yung casa mo, ortigas area lang kasi ako. I've a friend who takes his patrol there but he is in hibernate mode, hehe.

Ask them to take a look at the a/c lines like jules said. Mas maganda rin kasi natutulungan natin yung casa hanapin yung problem. Good luck!

sir whistler, yun nga eh... pag nachambahan ka ng malas, malas talaga...

oo naman maganda din kung tulungan yung casa kaya yung mga suggestions dito ng mga tsikoteers sinasabi ko sakanila and ok naman sila kausap eh... pag nabalik na dun, di ko na lang muna siguro kukunin unless maayos na talaga, nung kinuwa ko kasi sabi nila ok na daw tapos observe ko na lang... di din naman kasi pwede na di nila maayos tapos hahayaan ko na ganun na lang yun... i paid good money for the nav and i expected it to be in good condition for many years to come tapos after almost 2 months ganito kagad... yun yung nakaka disappoint...

i will update all of you on what will happen... sana maayos na... uwi ulit ako province next week, i need the nav for loading buko... lots and lots of buko...

gud eve,sir naka install kana ba ng roof-rack mo?saan mo na store binili sir?gusto ko rin sana lagyan ng roof-rack gaya sa navara US version na may pangalan na navara.ty po.

Sir loki non of the above... hehehe. crimson red yung color ng nav ko, as of this time no problem naman... tungkol naman sa problem mo sa amoy sa loob, lumalamig pa ba a/c mo? kung hindi kalamigan na, pwedeng freon leak nga. pero on the other hand kung matinding dumikit na amoy ang dumali sa nav mo, try mo "uling" treatment. lagay mo uling sa small square aluminum pans na ginagamit sa baking, tapos ilagay mo sa ilalim ng seats mo para sipsipin mga bad odors sa loob... kung ayaw pa rin naku baka padetail mo na loob mo nyan.... takutin mo nga yang mga SA ng UN Ave kung di sila ok, sabihin mo ipagkalat mo sa forum na di ok services nila kung di nila aayusin trabaho nila.... hehe... or lapitan mo na lang kaya president nila si leo lei yee...

mga SIR nagdadalawang isip tuloy ako sa UN Ave... hehe... as per my previous message, saan kaya magandang casa pag dating sa nav? TIA

tumpak sir all of the above! nakakwentuhan ko lang nung time na kinuha ko yung nav ko si mr. leo lei yee kasi may event noon sa nissan UN Ave. ano kulay ng nav mo sir? 4x2 or 4x4?

good evening mga sir. I'm seriously considering buying a Navarra in the next couple of months to replace my 2006 civic 2.0

for my needs mas practical talaga ang truck sakin. my other ride is a 2002 isuzu fuego 4x2 2.5l turbo direct injection.
