Bro tell me if natuloy ka sa paglagay ng bedliner sa ziebart. Yung Rhino Linings ko kasi sa other pickup ko bumigay na, natuklap. Tapos sumisipsip pala ng tubig yun,

Ziebart claims that rubberized linings are no good (absorbs water and breaks off easily) and that theirs (epoxy type) is better. Yung drop in na bedliner naman kasi nakakasira ng paint, silipin nyo yung ilalim ng bedliner, lalo na sa mga kanto.

FC ng spirited driving yun pre. Hehe. Ganyan din FC ko dati nung bago pa nav ko, ngayon nagtitipid na, nakaka 8-9km/L ako city driving.

mga sirs, may issue po ako sa aircon ng navara ko... kasi ginamit ko siya 2 days ago and last night.. usually kasi pag ginagamit ko sya, after mga 3-5minutes pa bago ko buksan aircon, ganun din ginawa ko nun pero ayun, may ingay nga sya(i think this is common with all navara's) and then may amoy na mabaho... ano po kaya yun? pacheck ko na kaya sya sa casa since 1month old pa lang sya sa 29? ano po tingin nyo...

*loki_chaos - aircon smell must be due to moisture buildup that attracts airborne bacteria at evaporator. Try to make a habit of turning thermostat or a/c button off(with blower still running) 5minutes before your destination to lessen moisture..Quick DIY is to put some charcoal below the seats to neutralize smell and use airfreshener. Smoking inside vehicle or frequent opening of windows in a polluted environ also induce acu smell problem. Welcome to Navara thread and enjoy your ride.

Replacing stock2stock 4x2 to 4x4 rims/tires, overall performance hmm..
- Ok ang dunlop tahimik pero sana hindi bumukol katagalan jst like my bad experience.
- Tire/ride height increased 1" at lumabas ng 1" sa rear fender. Front sakto lang sa fender at mudflaps. Minimal ang dirt effect sa rear because of tires design.
- Nabawasan ang accuracy ng speedmeter, yun 100kph lumalabas around 110-115kph(tach as reference) kaya pala parang lahat ko nalampasan sa expressway.
- Approx 8kgs ang difference ng stock 4x2 sa 4x4 tires so im observing for effects on steering adjustment and suspension parts..Overall mas gumanda ride.
- FC remained at 10-13k/L

Labor charge at casa is 1.3k and will take 2-3hrs to install. They failed me since 2-days nasa loob ang car at hindi nainstall even after several ff-up and reminder, kaya sa inis ko pinull-out konalang ang part..tsktsk. bad service.

Took me 30mins to install using home-garage tools (including linis fender parts at balik ng tires) no sweat..

I experienced this on my minivan it was less than 5000km that time...
cause??? fungus and Molds in your a/c's evaporator.... Mold needs 3 things to grow: moisture, a food source, and little or no air flow. The evaporator becomes a fungus breeding ground the moment the AC is turned off.

what i did?
brought the car to them 3 times on the 4th time we had a heated argument... wrote them a demand letter... after a few weeks viola car was refunded

we should not let these small things pass... you buy a car with hard earned money so why live with that smell.... for me this shouldn't be taken lightly even if the smell last for only a few minutes, because this is not normal and we should not accept that this is a common malady for new cars
nowadays...the fact that there is smell means there in something wrong...
and they should correct this...if walang magrereklamo lagi na lang ganyan ang mga bagong auto hit or miss malas mo na lang pag machambahan ka

i suggest have the car seviced ask them for a copy of your job order.... indicate same complaint same problem and have them indicate what was done....file it... on the third time if this happens write a demand letter accompanied by these 3 job orders .....demand for a refund

ive done this already you should know your rights or else in the future all of us will end up with shitty cars

*jatcos - di naman po ako nag ssmoke sa navara pero dun sa car ko nagsmoke ako... hehe.. pero di po nangyari yun... tyaka diba po di naman talaga normal yung ganun? brand new na brand new sya tapos di lang nagamit for about 4 days ganun na kagad... hehe...

*Sheep - dadalhin ko nga po sa saturday kasi busy ako sa work... update ko kayo kung ano mangyayari... hehe... ^^

from pag 1 sa thread, parang ako pa lang may ganitong problem sa mga bumili ng brand new... hehe!
