Hi mga Sir/s,

Bagong owner ako ng isang 4x2 A/T na Navara. Actually magiging bagong owner palang pala, kasi sa Monday pa ang bayad ko sa DP at this is my first vehicle. So far sa kakabasa ko sa thread, mukhang ok ang pagpili ko sa Navara kesa sa Ranger, hehehe. Mga Bossing, tanong lang, anong ibig sabihin ng HU at curious lang ako sa HU setup ni Sir Jatcos.

*jatcos, may pix ka ba sir ng dashboard mo para makita ko lang ung setup mo, especially ung backing camera at tv tuner.

sir ask ko lang kung saan ka bibili ng nav? kasi nagkaroon ako ng VERY bad experience sa Nissan shaw at westgate (one owner lang) usually kasi you give the DP pag ready to pick up na ang unit. ang nissan shaw kasi nag rerequire sila ng DP para makuha ang unit sa planta. Lumipat ako sa Nissan UMC (the best at eto ang planta) dun hininig lang 5K resevation tapos walang kaprobleproblema. Yung NIssan shaw hiningi DP para daw ma order ang unit tapos ayun 3 weeks ako pinag antay. so i got my refund na pahirapan pa, binastos pa ng boss nila asawa ko. kaya ayun sa UMC na ako kumuha. share ko lang. ayoko mangyari sa iba yung naexperience namin dun. cheers!

Nasa Page 47 na ako ng thread at marami na akong natututunan sa Navara, plus the members are really kind and supportive . Isa lang ang napuna ko mga Sir, ang daming discussion regarding the sudden noise sa AC at sa noise on brake and accelerate. Sana wala akong maranasang ganoon [-o<. Tanong lang ako ulet, this is my first time to own a Bnew vehicle, pashare naman mga Sir ng technics sa pagbreak-in ng Navara nyo, hehehe.

Tuner box was installed beneath center console - babaklasin yun para malagay sa loob, madami pa space sa loob in between shifter knob hangang sa firewall. Tuner has 1AV oputput and 3AV inputs where the cam is connected..So may 2 inputs pa pede lagay like 2nd cam, gps,or Sat TV. For local TV reception, two split dipole antennaes are installed in the windsheild. Temporary lang yung cam sa plate-holder malinaw naman pero papalitan/re-locate ko nag moist kasi nung umulan.

Dami topics about break-in, i think na-discuss din dito or sa other thread? try to search.. Depende narin sayo kung ano ssundin pero buttom-line is kung ano recommended ng planta yun ang sundin para hindi ma-void warranty. Other technique not recommended pede modin gawin as long as hindi malalaman ng casa..hehe

gudpm. in my 6 mos of driving my navara so far so good and i never experience thing like that. sir pls let us know how it happen and what did you do to solve that problem. this will make us ready for that.hope it will not happen to us.

sir actually 3x na nangyari sa akin...

first was when naka stop ako sa intersection, nung nag green light na floor ko bigla then when it reached 60kph bigla nag stuck na dun sa speed na yun n ayaw na bumilis pa, even if pag laruan ko pa gas pedal. yun rpm hangang 2,500 lang. nilgay ko sa neutral then shifted back to drive pero wala pa rin lalo lang bumagal upto 40kph na lang. then i stopped n turned off the engine. after ko start ulit, ayun ok na.

2nd n 3rd time naman, while driving, nung pag floor ko sa gas pedal bigla na lang nag stuck sa 40kph. yun 2nd time pag turn off then on ko ng engine ok na ulit.... pero nung 3rd time naka 5x na ako i-turn off then on yun engine ayaw pa rin bumalik sa normal. drove probably around 4kms for 20mins tapos pag off n on ko ok na ulit...

not sure why. someone told me probably hindi ko na warm up masyado yun car. eh yun first n third time may mga after 10mins pag alis ko sa garahe n may a few minutes na warm up din b4 i left home.

Mga Sirs, nagbayad na si Mrs ng DP kanina pero di pa nya kinuha ung unit. Di pa kasi siya marunong magdrive. 1month pa bago ako makauwi at makuha ung unit, excited na akong subukan ung Navara, hehehe. Actually sakay at drive lang talaga ang alam ko, no knowledge on parts ika nga. Pero at least ngayon may konting alam na me sa Navara plus may manual pang mababasa, hehehe.

*jatcos: Sir ang gara naman ng HU (alam ko na meaning) mo. San mo nabili yun bossing at pano ung installation, sila na ba? May mga backing sensor bang nabibili na di kailangan magbutas? Alin ang mas maganda sensor o camera lalo na sa gabe? Pasensiya na sir sa dami ng tanong.

Touchscreen yung JVC, motorized tilt, and detachable LCD panel(safety feature para iwas basag bintana kung may nagbalak kunin HU-good esp when you leave your vehicle at pier or airport parking for several days). With USB, ipod/mp3 ready na.. Originally kenwood dapat kunin ko sa Maspro ddx8032bt kaso based from testimonials hindi daw user-friendly ang console ng kenwood so i settled sa JVC..Wala lang sya blutooth pero i dont see the necessity of having one..Bale 26k yung headunit, 5.8k yung AVT tuner and the rest are for cameras antenna and cabling accessories kaya 36.8k lahat. BTW, JVC is also a Kenwood company kaya siguro yun model ng JVC lagi may KW prefix..

As of wheels upgrade depende na sa use and preference aka shoes for a certain job. For me, i want to make it as stock as possible kaya 4x4 stock mags ang kinuha ko(though balako palitan Dunlops dahil may bad experience ako, ubusin muna)..Alam mo naman sa casa kapag nakita na chromed wheels ma-vvoid na suspension warranty, atleast un stock-look hindi na nila mpapansin..hehe.. Also my nav is hard working truck, prang d yata bagay yun low-profiled rubber and all-in chromed tapos may sakay na toneladang equipment sa likod..Parang naka toga ang shoes pero sa farm nagw-work..haha

i got my HU for only 20k fidelity un brand all in touch screen, usb, ipod, dvd/vcd/mp3, gps, bluetooth, back camera and tv antenna... mahal kc un branded hehe and to get all the feature of a branded unit for a cheaper price ^^

^^good deal nga yun fidelity..Meron din carsthetics, jansen, avt brands pero ang nagustuhan ko kasi sa jvc yun detachable screen..

*acewblaze-standard free installation, shop around banawe para makapamili. Backing sensor bbutasin ang bumper pero kung ingenuine un installer baka magawan ng paraan like mounting brackets. I recommend combinition of both, pero personally I dont rely on these sensors when backing mahaba kasi pickup-tumitingin parin ako sa mirrors or before pumasok ng sasakyan sinisilip ko muna ang likod..

*viyage- my 10k pms 5953.97 Breakdown: Labour-770.63, Oil Filter Assy-677.09, Shop Supplies & Materials-106.25, Motor Oil (cust provided 2Gal Motul CRDI)-4400. Some casa add engine flush nasa 900+ un, and fuel conditioner around 200+. I havent tried casa-supplied oil.
