I've read somewhere that they will be releasing two more variants of the Cefiro.
The 300EX variant will be powered by a 3.0L V6. The 350Z variant will be powered by a 3.5L V6.
Any information about the prices of these? :D

July 15th, 2004 04:27 PM #4yup its a perfect combination for the heavy body of the cefiro. 3.0 v-6 than the 2.0 v-6. My guess is this will make the car more fuel efficient than the 2.0 v-6 because of the the improved power to weight ratio And lower rpm to move the car

i doubt fuel economy will improve (it'll probably be significantly less) in the city. there are few cases of a larger engine yielding better economy, and usually in these cases, the larger engine features new technology, or was replacing a smaller engine with poor economy (such as the 4.7L V8 in the LC100 versus the old 4.5L turbo i-6 in the LC80).
for example, the old Range Rover 4.6HSE had much poorer fuel economy than the 4.0 V8... as does the TB48 4.8L i-6 in the Patrol versus the TB45 4.5L i-6.

camry launched its 3.0 V6 today, accord will follow soon with its own 3.0 V6. camry will drop its 2.0li line up, the base model will now be the 2.4li. do i smell a 2.0 altis?
the 3.0 V6 cefiro has a horizontal grille, 16" mags, rear power sunshade, HUD speedometer, vertical emblem on the hood, among others.Signature
