    hmm OT na yan ha...

but more or less, expect the GU (introduced in 1998) to be replaced for the 2006 model year, or maybe 2007 at latest. expect IFS to debut on the Patrol!!

Body rust on fenders when not taken well care off.

Door misalignment due to wear and tear, medyo may kabigatan sya para sa hinges.

Dull interior, plastic dashboard. Pre-historic but functional indicators.

Cramped foot space for tall drivers. Second row foams to thin for comfort.

These mammoths are heavy, and I mean heavy. Don't get caught off guarded, they're hard to stop than you could imagine.

Weak headlight design and light distribution, 6 inch halogen assembly isn't enough to lit even 5 meters ahead.

Solid diffs both front and rear won't promise subtle and comfort ride, but reliable during 4WD duties.

Yan lang po naalala kong pintas sa Patrols, madadagdagan pa pag naalala ko, hehehe. :D

GlennSter's Patrol is up for sale. It might be worth a look. Bagong refurbish pa ang interior.

I would strongly suggest a local version. Converted unit dealers tend to shortcut the conversion by just switching the steering box from right to left which is a big no no... Chassis can easily rip off if not correctly switched, steering boxes should always be mounted on the outer part of the chassis, whether left or right hand drive.

Surplus units do have rear LSD as well as new Y61 Patrols which are basically useless. While locally sold units by UMC had the diff locker as standard, which is a greatful addon.

Aftermarket parts are abundant, you just need to know where these shops are. OE coils tend to sag which requires changing. Coil spacers or lifters don't offer that much ride comfort and safety concern.
