if you really want a fast 4WD SUV, go for the GMC Suburbans or Chevy Suburbans there in Pinas or GMC Sierra Pick Ups both w/ the 5.7 or 8.1 L V8 Monster engines, man i tell you the response of those trucks when you floor the pedal - ibang klase...it will give you a max speed of 150 - 160 kph...although it can reach 180 kph easily the ECM automatically limits this (cut off)

true sir, mabigat nga kapag naka-engage sa 4WD. kasi, lahat ng gulong e kumakayod. 4WD is ideal for loose terrain, for maximum traction. saka, 2 modes ng 4WD: 4H & 4L.
4H, or 4 wheel High engages all for wheels but in a high-speed gear, you can drive up to 100Kph but not over. ideal for traction, such as light snow, or loose gravel.
4L or 4 wheel Low engages all fours but in a low speed gear, maximizes the torque available. ideal for muddy terrrains, or no terrains at all.

mabagal compared sa bigger suvs and gasoline vehicles.
pero nakaka overtake pa din naman.
hehehe.

Maninibago ka talaga kung sanay ka sa mga gas engines. Sometimes I use my GF's Corolla on my coding day. Then pag ginamit ko na un Frontier sa gabi, medyo nababagalan na ako sa arangkada. Sanayan lang talaga. Pero sa SLEX I can do 120+KPH easily at kaya pa ng mas-mabilis.

103hp engine + heavy pickup body + additional weight of the 4WD components + higher drag coefficient
that ain't really a recipe for fast ride.

November 18th, 2005 10:29 AM #17you're better off not driving pickups that fast anyways. sa higher center of gravity pa lang e mas prone ka na to tipping over

AT pa pala yan Frontier nila, lalo hirap. sa automatic gas van nga basta ma-incline lang daan switch kagad ako sa 3 or 2, kasi yun D parang kapos power.
Maraming Salamat :)
