Huwaw!!! Pirelli Tires! :D
How much did you get them? Does this have the H/T thread or the A/T thread?
Why did you opted for the 265? I thought you wanted wider ones for softer ride?

A/T thread sya. P5,400 each at Ben's OK

Are there only 2 sizes for you to choose from?
Basically they are almost the same size. 265/75 with 5% more ratio sidewall is a bit taller by few millimeters only. The air pressure will be your guiding factor for smoother ride. Though the 32X11.5X16 is taller from the 2 sizes that you mentioned. :D

275/70R16 = 31.15inches
265/75R16 = 31.64inches
Signature

Half of an inch difference, how much air pressure was put in those tires? You would want to measure it now, since it's still new. Then drive it for a week to measure it up again. Makikita nyo po yung difference lalapad pa yung tires and sidewalls will also adjust.
I cannot attest that taller sidewalls will give you more comfortable ride. Since I haven't compared a small difference in sidewall ratios.

pero pag uwi ko, after an hour, i checked the pressure. sa rear 36 and 40, front 32 and 32. kaya pala feeling ko parang mas matagtag. also, pag ba bago yung tires, mas matatag nga kaya? dahil matigas pa yung rubber? o hindi?Signature

I assume the 40 psi rear is on the driver side?
Better air them at minimal, around 28 psi. Lolobo pa yan after a few days.

yung manufacturer recommended air pressure is 29psi front and 36psi rear.
Signature

Yup! Allow those tire to flex while driving it around for a few days. Then load your Safari 1 sack of rice or anything heavy at the back while flexing those rubbers.

Mas maganda ba ang ride for pirelli tires than dunlop... hmm pa-rate naman with regards.. softness of ride, durability, threadwear (kung bilis ba mapudpod) and thread pattern of:
1. Yokohama geolander
2. Dunlop grandtek
3. Pirelli scorpion
thanks =)
