All New 2010 Nissan Sentra

What do you think about the MR20DE engine specification in terms of performace compare to other brand 2.0 variant ?

Not quite as powerful or advanced as the Honda K20 or the Hyundai 4B11/Theta. It's about bang on par with the Ford/Mazda Duratec/MZR and the 2.0 in the Corolla... but it's more like the Corolla engine than the Ford/Mazda... low-revving, peaks early and is focused more on torque than top-end. In other words, it's probably fine for daily traffic, but not for "fun".

It'd take a lot of work to get more revs and more power out of it. And while the K20, Theta/4B11 and Duratec/MZR all have good aftermarket support (though the fact that the Duratec/MZR only comes with ATs in the Focus/Mazda3 limits overall potential), the MR20DE is the "economy" Nissan engine, and doesn't have as much in terms of modifications available as the QR20DE or QR25DE.

Maganda naman ang MR engines tulad nung sa Grand Livina so I'm expecting the MR20 engine ng new Sentra would as good as those sa GL! Malamang mga 215 KPH ang top speed ng 6 Speed M/T variant na Sentra!

Kahit malakas gas ng Civic 2.0 hindi pa rin sayang pera. Quality pa rin yung kotse.

The only thing nice about the old sentra was the big passenger area. This one looks even smaller. Di na bagay gawing taxi.

medyo nakukuriputan ako sa new sentra. even the 6speed MT walang ABS which is a standard sa ibang brand kahit sa mga base model(i.e. altis), but for a high-end(bukod sa AT) variant, di pa nila nilagyan.
