common problem ba ng cefiro ang computer box after 100K+ mileage? yun kasi ang suspect ko nung minsang ginamit namin yung cefiro ng kaibigan ko. at times, pag-switch off kasi ng makina, biglang mag-a-alarm. nung minsan, pagka-start ng engine, nag-hazard kahit naka-switch-off yung hazard light. sinubukan kong i-switch yung hazard tapos pinatay ko pero walang epekto. kung comp box nga ang may tama, could you suggest a place where we can have it checked and repaired? the car is in tagaytay.
thanks!

^Nothing wrong with the ECU. Its probably the NATS acting up and just needs a reset/reprogramming. Is that an 00-02 Cefiro? You can adjust the sensitivity of the alarm.

^Top Gear made a thorough review of the A32 Cefiro from 97-98 Model sometime in 2004 or 05.
Anyway...buying a good condition Cefiro is hard to come by these days as the engine is prone to warping due to overheat. Its better if the seller agrees to bring it to a shop first, have it lifted, checked for leaks, check signs of previous overheating.

Hello Cefiro users! I was checking out a 97 Cefiro AT V6 24v model and the owner told me upfront when we were about to test drive it that the car wont move on "D" initially but need to shift to "D1" for about 10mins before it can be shifted to "D" ! What's wrong with this unit? Also the tachometer needle moves erratic - up, down, 2000 to 3000 rpm. Any solutions? TIA!
