Diesel option is unlikely specially if the initial target market is North America. Maybe the Asian model will come with a diesel option.

The Juke came out late in the Philippines and it was already on the end of its platform cycle. Even worse was that we got the vanilla model when the Jukes in the US came with AWD and a more powerful turbo engine.

I guess that if I were buying one from this vehicle segment, it will be a toss up between the Vitara and the Kicks.

Big fan of both brands, but I think more of the Nissan (Datsun)..I just love their history and turnaround story.

Nissan has always been big in the US, even bigger than Honda. It was just sad how the brand was managed here by Yulon-Taiwan from 2000 to 2014.

Nissan-Renault is there with Toyota and VW as the top auto manufacturers in the world.
