Nissan to revive the "Terrano" nameplate using Dacia/Renault's Duster compact SUV.

It will of course, adopt some exterior modifications to look more in line with Nissan's current SUV offerings.

This is a Dacia/Renault Duster SUV.

    What do you think guys?

Nope. It is compact and 5 seater. More like the 1st gen Vitara.

    Seems like it.

While looking like a scaled down Patrol.

Powering this compact SUV are gasoline four-cylinder 1.6-liter or two-liter volume and a 1.5 dCi turbodiesel tuned to 85 or 110 hp.

Looks nice but I think the PH market needs a Fortuner/Montero alternative.

Strange though as the Terrano was usually based on the Nissan pick-up platform right?

Yes, but there's no more compact pick-up to rely on to. The original pick-up has grown to become the Navarra it is today. Even the Pathfinder has switched to car based platform. This will battle the Ford EcoSport if ever.
