    wala. hindi din kaya dahil sa horzontal plastic baffles sa loob ng reservoir. Hindi ka makakasundot pababa talaga.

Di talaga makikita unless meron ka maliit na camera (ala endoscopy) na pwede itutok pababa para makita mo yung video feed, or talaga baklasin mo yung reservoir para lang makita.

    Di mo din pwede sundutin ng isang rod or "Stick" papasok sa reservoir from the top kasi may horizontal fins/baffles siya, mga 3 levels based sa ocular check ko. From the cap pa lang may harang na kaagad na need mo divert/liko yung stick kung gusto mo pa tumuloy pababa sa lower level. Para daw itong "3 chambers" sa overfill ng coolant kung nasobrahan ka lagay, sa intindi ko sa manual.

    In terms of DIY Maintenance, medyo kamot ulo lang siya na item bakit ganun ginawa sa indicator. Yung korte/shape ng reservoir gets ko, kasi siniksik nila na compact siya. Downside is di mo talaga makikita with any line of sight yung coolant level sa reservoir.

    Kaya ngayon ko lang sinilip kasi 35k kms total mileage palang ako and wala naman talaga issue. Di naman siya nagarahe this year but minimal lang talaga mileage compared to normal. Dapat sa next PMS ko papalagay na talaga ako coolant eh alanganin pa mileage, DIY ko na lang sana yung topup. Sayang din pa PMS kung di pa talaga kelangan.

    perhaps if you download some images and see where the max and min levels are, in the reservoir.

    Topping up not an issue, checking the level of the reservoir, impossible unless chambahan na lang. Basically yung kita mo ng maayos is lagpas na ng max level ng indicated sa reservoir.

    It's on 8-8 or page 231 of the pdf. Akala ko lang din madali yung indicator makita. The HR16DE engine.

    to the right of the reservoir in the image nakaharang na agad na yung fuse box sa engine bay. Below it sa image, meron din nakaharang. On the other side, the "face" of the reservoir you can't see sa image nila, tapered naman papasok, so di mo din mailawan yung part ng reservoir on that side that is same level with the Min and Max levels indicated for the whole reservoir. Just the upper 3 "chambers" above the MAX level. Nakatago din yung important part to see and check.

    Tingin ko, since wala naman issue yung temp guage as shown when operated, pwede slight overfill above max til the first lowest of the 3 chambers, as long as wag ko mapuno yung lowest chamber for overfill (since puno naman radiator til the cap (checked when cold so okay yung radiator coolant level mismo). Kung mag lagay man ako and di man lang umabot to that first overfill chamber, ibig sabihin mababa na din talaga reservoir. Hehe! Talagang chambahan method.

    Medyo malabo lang talaga. Ngayon ko lang naexperience yung coolant reservoir hindi mo makita yung min and max level. Lahat naman ng ibang kotse na nagamit namin, simple lang macheck visual. Ito lang yung talagang hindi kaya makita.

    i can't make heads nor tail of the diagrams. sorry.

    but you might try directing a strong flashlight beam into your reservoir's uncovered filler hole, and see if you can see the markings and coolant level.

    Ginamitan ko na ng emergency wall light. yung dalawang LED bulb na usually nakasaksak sa pader na automatic umiilaw pag brownout. wala talaga makita. hehe!

    No problem doc.

    Gusto ko lang magrant onti. Kasi nainis ako sa design ng reservoir. haha!

    Pero bukas try ko mag order sa Nissan Parts ng 1L engine oil and 1L coolant, both for top up.

    Nakalagay kasi may 24 hours delivery guarantee sila or its FREE. So masubukan na din lang. Malay mo, makalibre ako.

    Down lang ngayon website nila for some reason kaya di ako makaorder today, hopefully bukas umaga up na yung site para maorder ko na.

    those are too big!
    use the cheap LED flashlights from daiso, shoemart o yung pamigay ng mga kumpanya.
    yung 1 - 1.5 inches diameter at may tatlong AAA batteries.

    Subukan ko ulit tomorrow with a smaller flashlight. The only other method I haven't tried is checking the reservoir from the bottom below the right side of front bumper kung may line of sight na walang nakaharang + aid of flashlight.
