Nakita ko nayang new generation Nissan X-Trail nung launch nya sa Nissan U.N Avenue this week,invited ako dyan. Both 2WD at 4WD variants ang nakita ko at okay naman sya!!

May Cruise Control din ang 2WD variant!Panay 2.5 Liter 6 Speed CVT yan.

Ano bang meron sa diesel engine at parang pahirapan ipasok sa Pinas? Outlander,XTrail, Mitsubishi fuzion,escape mga modelo na pag may diesel sigurado ko hahataw sa benta

Good point! Parang mga may blinders ang marketing people ng car companies na yan... Pinoys love diesel (supposedly mas matipid, pero I am not 100% convince in the long run due to its higher running cost and higher aquisition cost) for its cheapness and grunt during heavy loads...

Hyundai/Kia seems to be the only one responding. While most 3rd world models have diesel, their 1st world models (global models) are always only available in gas even if a diesel is available.

Sorry my bad. There is no sunroof sa 4x4 pala. Wasn't really particular about it kaya di ko napansin. For me the 4x2 is a better deal since the interior of 4x4 and 4x2 is 95% the same. Was able to test drive the 4x2 last saturday, very nice to drive and this even feels more like a car than the old Xtrail.

My only gripes are, no Aux input, foot rest is too high for me, the horn is not loud, and the fuel filler door is weird coz i don't know where the lock is. But all things aside, the information display is very good, rear aircons, cruise control even for 4x2, steering is very light, even lighter than old Xtrail. I feel like it's designed for women. Seats are also good and rear seats has more space. Wasn't able to test the CVT much coz traffic sa Libis area but it has 6 speed semi manual mode so you can shift the speed to your liking. Overall the quality of materials are good.
