Probably the most off-road capable U.S. market half-ton out there... Had rear axle breakage problems if equipped with large off-road tires... As redorange states, this has been rectified for 06 and later models... Capable off-road due to 4-wheel traction control and rear locking diff... Won't beat a Dodge Power Wagon though due to the PW's solid axles, locking diffs, 4.56 gears, 2.72 low range, stabilizer disconnect, 33" tires and factory 12,000 winch...

If you must have a pickup then it's the Power Wagon... If you must have a half-ton then the Titan is a very good choice...

Very nice but looks like a gas guzzler to me (just like the F150).
    Engine
    Endurance 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine
Pogi yet impractical here in Pinas, hehehe...

Well if you're buying a half ton truck then fuel economy shouldn't be high on your list. These truck were originally made to be work trucks and haul loads not as fuel economy vehicles good for commuting.

--very true sir, but trucks like that aren't really used for hauling lotsa loads here in Pinas. More on pogi points, IMHO.
