October 23rd, 2007 12:19 AM #31Try Taurus in Evangelista. Pasok ang 2" na spacer pero delikado due to coil slip. Baka malubak ka at dumulas. Ung lock kasi hangang 1" lang - goma na ung kakapitan beyond 1". Kelangan talaga longer spring and 1" spacer.

October 24th, 2007 09:14 AM #33thanks for the tips oceanrider!
i'll keep them in mind since i also got in contact with members of the terrano/frontier club at 4x4ph and was referred to someone who fabricates the spacers. kaso by december pa raw sya available.
ocanursjr,
i got mine around 2 mos ago for 325k. maybe a "fresher" or later model could go as high as 400k.Last edited by coiter; October 24th, 2007 at 09:32 AM.

terrano owner din here.... 97 Gas...medyo malakas nga sa gas but the engine is very reliable....10 yrs na sa amin ito and regular maintenance lang halos ang ginagawa namin......our terrano has been used a lot, gone off road with it and it can go where a pajero or trooper goes.... LSD is a nice touch for this suv....
hmmmm meron palang terrano club....makasali nga....hehehehe

anyway, when i was looking for a unit, talagang target ko diesel kasi nga yung reputation ng gas variant sa pagiging guzzler. they say as low as 4-5 kms/l! pero i was almost resigned to get one din dahil hirap talaga humanap ng mura na ok na diesel. buti na lang may nagrefer na member ng club. :D ayun, happy naman ako so far. see you na lang sa forum!

Thanks coiter! I'm thinking of getting a 2nd SUV for my Dad. I know Terrano performs well. I remember when it was first launched here 11 year ago selling for 1.1million pesos.

good thing na okay pa pala yung account ko don.....hehehehe
last time na nagawi ako don eh iba pa ang hitsura nung site atsaka wala pang terrano thread.....frontier pa lang ang inuumpisahan.....
teka lipat muna ako don.....hehehehe

Hi guys! i just want to seek your opinion with regards to the terrano 2.4gas executive series. Is it really a gas guzzler compared to a 1.6 vtec civic??? im planning to swap my civic too the terrano. is it worth it???thanks

October 31st, 2007 03:20 PM #40bagay ang terrano sa mga walang paki sa daan at maintenance. hehe. kasi medyo basic ang sasakyang ito: old school diesel, not much electronics, go-anywhere capability, easy maintenance, etc. dun sa papers ng nabili ko, almost 900k yung brand new nung 1998. :D
well as others mentioned talagang guzzler ang 2.4 gas. highest siguro na makukuha mong mileage e 7 kms/l.
is it worth to swap with a car? it depends kung talagang kelangan mo ng suv. kung talagang everyday e rough roads and/or floods ang nadadaanan mo na hindi na kaya ng car or you'd occasionally need 4wd, then its worth it. otherwise, keep the car. kasi generally, the bigger the vehicle, the higher cost of maintenance. and a car is easier to maneuver in the city or tight spaces.
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
