im also planning to buy a Terrano this February..does the gas fed engine do even 6-7km/L??
if yes then i can settle with it since nasanay na ko sa consumption ng Galant V6 ko.
ano po top speed nito? at ano common problem ng gas engine Terrano? at magkano po pa-rehistro nito?
TIA

Sir mine is a 1991 model imported nissan terrano TD 27 turbo diesel engine I bought it October 2006 for p280k until now I have no problem with it. Very economical for an SUV 8.3 k/Liter city driving in Cebu and 10 K/Liter long distance driving Cebu city to Dumaguete. I had my top speed registered along the new Marcelo Fernan bridge connecting Mandaue City and Mactan at 130 kph for such a short distance. I use it everyday as my work horse. Driving my wife to and from work 15 kilometers and myself going to and from work another 15 kilometers that makes my average travel distance per day of 30 kilometers. Aircon is really cold never had a problem with it except for the regular cleaning. My terrano uses Valvoline durablend ever since I got it and it never had tested any other diesel except for shell diesel. So far I already changed the tires, brake pads, a right aft brake rotor disk, tierod end, air filter. And next year I'm planning to repaint it so that it would look as good as it performance. That's my surplus nissan terrano. Happy owner.

guys, would you recommend a 1996 local terrano diesel for a first time vehicle owner to be used mostly on a weekend family trip (3 kids) to bulacan. My first option is to buy a revo, adventure, hilander/xwind (all 2nd hand) but with the pros that i've read in this thread...terrano is a low maintenance inspite of being an SUV...
alas, a nose is easily fatigued. hence its unreliability.
