It is ok to hear those pipes coming from a Harley but smaller engined bikes will have an irritating sound effect like the ones you hear from chainsaws

They are stock pipe from harleys and not modified. Those iritating sounds to your ears are two-stroke scooter engines with aftermarket pipes. But there are good aftermarket pipe for two stroke that is good to hear like those malossi's and pollini italian pipe for Beta and yamaha jog scooters. I have yamaha and aprillia scooter with malossi pipe and most of the bike's enthusiast loves the sound of it specially during high rpm's. My four stroke liquid cool bike has stock silent pipe.

marinig ng mga cagers (drivers of cars,suvs,etc..lalo na ung mga bus,trucks,)
na merong motorcycle silang kasabay..

added safety din to sa mga motor kaya nga nka open headlight ang mc's kahit daytime is for them to be visible..coz they are hard to see

kahit sa tsikot e nka open headlight ako kahit daytime..

loud pipes and open headlights is really a safety factor for mc's..

nakairita talaga yung ibang mga aftermarket pipe kasi yung ibang riders nagpapagawa lang ng pipe sa tabi tabi kaya ang labas basag ang tunog after 1 month of usage,,kung authentic pipe bibilin nila ayos yung tunog nun kasi maganda ang pagkakagawa halos katunog na ng bigbike,,
mas maingay pa nga ang tambutso nung mga tricycle rider eh kasi may inilalagay sila sa tambutso para makatipid sa gas,,saka mas maingay din yung sounds ng mga patok jeep kesa sa mga riders na may sounds at maiingay ang pipe..

harley bikes and most cruisers are mostly single cylinder bikes so most likely, the sound coming from their engine is similar to other single cylinder bikes like the common 4 stroke single cylinder engined underbones so attaching an open type exhaust to underbones is not that different from attaching open type exhaust to cruisers or harley bikes. As for the noise level, big displacement engines is louder compared to smaller displacement bikes. so in comparing both small and big displacement bikes, bigger displacement will mean more noise.

aftermarket pipes for underbones some purposes. first is to get attention, and another would be an additional power is gained for better acceleration.
