tsk tsk tsk...
such a waste... my condolences...

Update: "Ben" was laid to rest yesterday. In behalf of his family, I would like to thank all of you for your condolences. I'm sure that his mom would appreciate these very much.
*CaMoTe! AFAIK, naka helmet kaso ata yung manipis lang that came with the bike (yung plastic lang). Not much protection.

yup, not much protection.. dapat nireregulate din yung mga helmets na yan e... sa ibang bansa, di pwede magbenta ng helmet na hindi certified... dito satin kahit sa mga traffic lights may mga naglalako ng mga helmets... minsan nung tinignan ko, may apat na screws pa na naka usli, nakatusok sa ulo mo.. you could just imagine what that screw could do to your head at the slightest pressure on the helmet to your head... literally screwed ka...

June 12th, 2006 11:54 AM #37when you are on a motor bike you are fighting for survival.
it's a matter of life and death, there is no guarantee.
me dalang kalawit) na nakasakay. isang kamali mo
lang six feet under ang babagsakan mo.
don't have too much fun on your life. life is precious
that cannot be replace back. ingat lang mga brod.
condolense,

I really feel sorry dun sa mom kasi only son at yun bata naman ang bata pa for him to die.
Tama yun isang forumer, education is the key. Yun mga gustong mag motor mag enroll kayo sa Motor Cycle Safety Foundation, it's worth it, pareho ang tinutura dyan at sa U.S. I took the MSF class to get my license and also learn kahit matagal na ako nag momotor dyan sa pinas. Kasi lahat ng question ko answered nila kasi educated and certified instructor so they know what they are talking about.

Ingat parati. Crashes chose no one. We have patients that are sons of governors (via air lift pa dinala samin) and regular joes (mula probinsya sinakay ng jeepney to Manila).
Considering how relatively well equipped the hospital is, a lot of them still don't survive. Especially the ones without protective gear.
