^ true. mahirap habulin ang white paint especially when it has been subjected to the elements, pollution, grime, oxidation, uv rays and the like
i learned that the hard way w/ my car's pearl white mica paint job

I had the same experience with our pearl white car before as well.
It's really hard to match the original pearl white paint. From one angle, the color is the same, but shift a few degrees and the difference is noticeable.
When 1 door got vandalized, I made sure to have the other door on the same side repainted too. This way, any difference in color is minimized when viewed from the side.
