Dati sinisipa ko mga stray cats.

Pero since nagkaroon kami ng mga pet cats, naaawa na ako kasi sa mga strays.

Meron kami 3 stray cats now lagi nasa labas ng bahay, pina-neuter/spay na din namin and complete vaccines. Nawawala na nga yung 1.

Most likely one of your nearby neighbors is feeding those strays and if you're one of those houses that's not feeding them (and you have no dogs) they'll make your yard their toilet.

Try mong pakainin sila.

i tried to put odd shaped boxes sa bubong ng kotse at night. para wala lang flat surface mahigaan yung pusa. ewan ko 50/50 if it worked or not. ngayon wala ako masyado problem sa pusa na natutulog sa garage but i see some strays time to time just passing by. though i still see paw prints sa pickup na tatay ko but very rare occurence naman na.

Basta hwag mo gugulatin ang cat if you see them on top of your car para hindi nila accidentally ma-scratch yung surface ng car. Hindi naman lalabas mga nails nila if hindi sila provoked.

We have 2 stray cats at front of our gate where our car is usually parked. We usually feed them at outside our gate andon food bowl nila so doon lagi sila naka tambay sa labas ng gate at hindi sa sasakyan.

one of our problems before was cats and dogs pooping sa ramp ng driveway namin. so ginawa ko rin yang pagpapakain. it somehow worked sa driveway but unfortunately, after a few days, mga 8-10 cats na ang naka abang sa harap namin. and they still pooped sa likod bahay at bubong namin. so tinigil ko rin.

ewan ko ba. parang pambansang cr ng mga pusa bahay namin.

naisip ko na rin to own a cat kasi alam ko territorial sila. will it keep other cats away kahit sa bubong?

Dapat cats won't poop sa mga visible areas like a driveway. Cats feel very vulnerable when they are pooping, kaya nagtatago mga yan when they poop. Unless house cat yan, magpoop yan kahit andyan kayong lahat, because the cat feels safe at home.

Also, if magalaga ka ng cat, you will need to have it neutered. If not, lalayas din yan if nag heat. Maghahanap yan ng pagpaparausan. But if neutered naman ang cat, wala na syang testosterone to fight the stray cats. Your cat will be overpowered by any stray cat.

Your story seems like infestation na ng cats and not just simple stray cats problem. Reminds me of that cat problem ng isang condo few years back. Maraming nagalit na animal lovers nung gumawa ng drastic action yung hoa.

Cats don't seem to poop sa bahay kung saan pinapakain sila.

They do ... cats seem to have lost their natural instincts of burying their poop ... probably caused by removing kittens too early from their mothers ...

ang default ng pusa tumae sa soil or sand or similar

that's why cat litter works

pero since stray cats don't have access to cat litter and urban areas don't have much places na may soil they'd poop on pavement and still instinctively bury the poop with imaginary soil

For the cemented areas like the driveway, have you tried washing it with water and strong bleach? Animals tend to poop on the same spot that they pooped on before which they locate by scent. Bleach apparently washes away the scent (or irritates their sense of smell?).

May spot sa garage namin na binakbak when Maynilad accessed our septic tank. Since it's just rocks and sand now, ginawang parausan ng pusa twice. Ginawa ko pagkatanggal ng poop binuhusan ko ng zonrox + water. Did the same sa labas ng gate namin sa areas na tinataihan naman ng askal. Could be coincidence pero so far, hindi pa nauulit.
