    kung ducktail ang, yung mas mura at mas "mahinang klase" ng 3m double sided tape gamitin nya. sa sobrang nipis noon di na siguro mapapasukan ng tubig. light duty sya pero kaya nun buhatin mobile phone ko (xperia T2 ultra) kahit umaalog alog pa sa mount.

    ganito nga binili ko na double sided tape sr. 1 inch ang width. nung umangat kasama ang tape sa kabilang dulo ang umangat. inuulan din kasi kinabukasan, nilinis ko din ung surface ng trunk ng alcohol bago ko ininstall.

    eto yung a day ata after installation. umangat ng konti na ung isang end. sabi nung seller lagyan daw ng silicone adhesive non acetic sa gap. hindi ba masisira paint nung trunk sa silicone?tnx naalis ko na kanina ung ducktail. di na ko bumili ng wd-40 para sa sticky residues. gas ginamit ko naalis naman.heh

    Hindi fit yung spoiler sa contour ng trunk. Di nga lapat. So pag ni press mo yang part na yan, either somewhere may aangat.

    ^^ ganun ba. wala kasi ako idea dito. akala ko kakapit lang yan kasi mas hindi lapat ung nilagay ko na hood lip chrome and trunk lid chrome pero di naman umangat hanggang ngayon.

    maaring mas flexible kasi yun plastic chrome finish garnishing mo compared sa fiber glass/composite plastic spoiler. like i said magkakaroon ng spring action effect iyan doon sa may stress point nya. bibitaw talaga iyan unless lagyan mo ng filler/build up yung gap.

    Yes, the silicone will fill the gap between the spoiler and the trunk but it"ll be an eyesore.

    Remove the spoiler, strip the 3m, then sand it down. Mahahabol ng liha yan sir. Baka mag repaint ka nga lang.
