Check out that website bro. I'm sure they have one for your car. If not, they can fabricate one for you.

December 29th, 2009 10:22 AM #16usually cf hoods sold in the philippines are just "skinned."
the underside is made of fiberglass.
real cf materials are made of straight cf with honeycomb core and vacuum infused. i doubt if any shop here makes this kind.

hi sirs, newbie question - kapag fiberglass with CF skin, lalagay ba nila CF film (gaya nang sa 3M) or CF vinyl wrap? o pareho lang sila?
pag ganito un set up, meron din ba sya heat rejection from the sun? mas hindi iinit ba un engine with this set up?

please disregard my newbie question above, nag researched nalang ako about carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) and carbon fiber weave (tnx to this thread for giving me inspiration). also searched ebay, grabe taas pala prices nang mga CF hoods with fiberglass frame (FRP). ito mostly ang binebenta nang mga sellers/shops.
i'll just include what to look for in a CF hood:
-check the carbon fiber. higher quality means a tighter carbon weave.
-check the clearcoat... it must be tough with a high gloss, smooth surface. no bubbling and yellowing. un pinatong/painted resin should have UV inhibitors (UV coated)... will keep the CF from yellowing over time.
-common weave is plain and twill weave
as an aside, in the olden days, anyone who does not move 'ala luksa during Holy Week, especially...
