ano ang pros and cons ng plastic and fiberglass na bodykits? sa mga nabasa ko kasi madali daw mabasag and pangit ang fit ng fiiberglass.. while ang plastic naman nagwawarp sa init and mas mahal.. anyway.. yung plan ko lang kunin na bodykits eh OEM (available both in fiberglass and plastic).. I apologize for the disturbance..

    Thanks sa mga inputs..

advantage ng plastic is its light.

if i am not mistaken, yun mga stock bumpers now are made of plastic right?

    Yup.. Same as the bumpers..

Price and availability lang ba ang reason why people go for fiberglass instead of the lighter plastic bodykits?

Plastic - usually OEM kits. Snug Fit. Of course pricey

Fiber Glass - usually OEM copies. Cheap coz locally made.

What about Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) same lang po ba sila ng Fiberglass? 2018 onwards yan na po yung na kikita kong available. May naka FRP po ba sa inyo? kamusta po in the long run?

Personal opinion & preference here...I'd stick w/ OEM ABS/Acrylic pcs over homebrew FRP (aka fiberglass), most of which will require Bondo correction. Unless waves, crooked lines, ungraceful aging, tackiness are the plan, I'd leave the car be. Again, just me.Bodykits question (plastic or fiberglass)
