October 10th, 2010 08:26 PM #9if the tires are "oblong", no amount of alignment can make your car roll straight. one does not check for oblong by just looking at the tires, even if very carefully.
how do i check if my tires are "oblong"? i remove the wheels, and then i roll them on flat cement floor. if they do not roll straight, they're oblong and need to be replaced.
(oblong = ply failure.)
