We are glad to hear inquiries/concerns from customers like you, as this an opportunity to serve you better.

With regard to your concern, we already received information from MMC Japan regarding Brake Check Valve issue on LANCER EX and OUTLANDER. According to the information, of all the vehicles (LANCER EX and OUTLANDER) that were exported here in the Philippines only 1 (one) OUTLANDER unit was affected. We already identified the vehicle and will soon contact the owner upon arrival of replacement part from MMC Japan anytime within this month of April. No LANCER EX model was affected according to MMC information.

It has been 3 or 4 months since this tragedy... what are the official results of the investigation? If it has been proven to be the faulty brake system of the Outie, The BIG mistake of the past must not be repeated again! By all means, MMPC must inquire with the dealer if that Outie is still running while waiting for the part!

Kawawa naman yung namatay sa SCTEX Outlander accident kung sila yung tanging isa na may brake defect.
