Sir dont get me wrong but that is really the first even dito no one says na mas comfortable ang vigo kesa triton but i guess kanya kanyang feeling talaga but it will depend sa tingin mo maybe a vigo will do but i sudgest not to make a cover only to make it up to your standard seat mate makes a customize seat sila kasi ang gumagawa nag racing seat namin dati maybe they can make a custom fit one for you and your family.

You don't have to apologize, nanofossil. First, it is your money that you will be spending to buy for the ride, not ours.
Two, it is your family who will be riding the truck, not us. We are just here to help and share what we know about our trucks and our experiences with it. Since you are in the strada thread, what we say may appear biased to some people. Well, I don't blame them. To each his own, I would say.
Hilux is a nice truck. No question about it. But just like any other trucks out there, it has its own pros and cons. With regards passenger ride comfort, I hope you will read these 2 comparo threads in full, before you make your final decision:

Note that the post of Strada Club members are minimal in these threads.
And oh btw, there is a newly formed Hilux Club of the Philippines. You may want to join them if ever you finally decide to get a Hilux. Here's the link: Hilux Club of the Philippines. You probably can help them rock on!Last edited by ooba99; September 2nd, 2009 at 02:57 AM.

*nanofossil, sir, pahabol, you may want to include this thread to your readings. Concentrate on what tsikot members say about the ride comfort of the Hilux.

Thanks guys, I never expected a non-violent reaction coming from you. Anyway, the Strada is still on top of my list... I guess another trip to the dealership to try the backseat will a good idea. Thanks for helping and being reasonable with me. I guess I'm getting a pickup not no impress everyone but I sure like the pickup to give my family maximum safety and pure riding bliss! Tatay na tatay na talaga ako! Thanks and maliligo na ako!

thats ok, sir... there are a bunch of BOSBs out there who are enjoying Fatherhood like you... mahahabang usapan na 'yan!
take as much time to explore... make sure to adjust the front seat as far and as close as possible-
in my book, there are only 2 pickup trucks in the market today: The Strada and the rest! hah!

to add up lang sir in what the other BOSB's has said
for practical reasons na din po mas mura ang strada kesa sa hilux ng about 250k++(GLS sport against hilux G) and for that extra amount of money, if you spend it sa accesories ng strada ay for sure magandang maganda na.
and with regards naman po sa seating sa back cabin maybe check it again po kasi if I remember correctly mas nasikipan yata ako sa hilux when I checked it....so better check it nga again for your own clarification
and for the biased opinion naman po
IMHO and according to topgear magazine na kababasa ko lang last night nung pickup comparo
the riding comfort of the strada is the best among the pickups according to them.
which I can attest to..... So I would rather pick the slight tightness of the back cabin which can be remedied by slight stretching rather than the travel long ride discomfort
goodluck and I hope you choose the right model for you and your family..

sir tc327, wag kayo mag alala diyan, basta nasigurado ko ang application ng parts and availability i will let everyone know, actually there there was a conversation with nismo a few months back regarding helping provincial based bosbs with the sourcing of parts since parts are relatively more expensive in the provinces...
one thing that i would like to ask help from you guys is if you could PM me a list of the consumables with their corresponding prices so that i could check it against the prices here and if it would be feasible to just source the consumables here and just have them shipped... pero take note that the total cost of the item(parts + shipping) coming from manila should still be much cheaper than buying it at the province... the club can just add a few pesos to the price for the trouble of purchasing and sending the items...
what do the bosbs think?
at least this way, there is another reason to join the club diba? additional perks!! hehehehe
Good to know nito, maka order nga. Paubos na yung windshield washer fluids sa mga units ko.
