to add, its the quality of fuel that we choose to put in our tanks... yung iba kasi nagtitipid sa diesel, kaya nasisira ang SCV nila...
So sir TP, what will it be? Shell, Petron, Caltex?

Ian, me laman yung blank. You know what to do, hehehe.

Hello, sir chng238. Nice dressed up strada you posted there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like the long tray (bed) strada variant. I thought this variant is available only in UK and Australia.

pwede pa rin chief, this is what i do:

    1) fill up , set trip meter to 0
    2) ride til it gets to 1/4 (or even 1/3 or 1/2 or right after your trip siguro, depends on what you want to measure for)
    3) next time i fill up, i take note of the number of liters bought
    4) i then divide trip km shown on trip meter by the number of liters, getting km/l
    5) do this several times and you get an idea of your average fuel consumption without waiting for your tank to run out. flexible din siya because if you want to measure city or highway separately, all you have to do is reset your trip meter and fill up as soon as you get to your destination.

    hope this helps a bit.

    cheers,

    hans

    p.s.

so far, i'm getting an average of 10.6666 (mixed na yun) on my new unmodified stock glx. worried that it's kinda low, especially after my SA CLAIMED it can go 14-18.

i've been using shell. any tips on how to improve fuel consumption?

thanks ive tried that too but parand di kasi accurate eh, hehe cge thanks will take note and observe nalang. ilang kms na ba ride mo?IMO i wait for at least after 5k or 10k sa PMS then at that time dun ako kukuha ng average FC ko.

almost 500K na bro (in a span of one week <--- biyahero! heheh)

ah ok, me naman i don't really know about specific car tech stuff like waiting after PMS to get average FC, gusto ko lang malaman how far my fuel centavos are taking me at any given time without waiting for the gas to run out.

anyway, in case you come across another method to check, would like to try that too!
