Hi Doc Boz, you went to Thailand po?

regarding the rust issue on some parts, i think these are thick metal parts that shows rust on the surface but actually solid. no need to panic for them and by the looks of it, it is not bolted on to the engine wall on painted surface.

Hi,

Noted the light film of rust in adjacent to turbo area, same as mine, what i did is applied thin coating of used oil & when engine is runing, the thin used oil film is coating the rusted area ,in that way it prevents the progress of rust to deep pitting, yun lang, It is not a good idea to apply rust arrestor like turpo or other brand it is highly corrosive.

another thing that you could do sir is that rub it with fine sand paper to remove the rust and then put some grease afterwards

Nanggaling ka pala ng thailand di ka lang nagsasabi! Ipapa-hand-carry ko pa naman sa yo yung i-order ko kay sir dadz na mga bash plates at snorkel!

hey guys, first time poster.

i've been looking for a site where i could express my feelings to people who have the same feeling as i do towards the Strada, and thankfully, i ended up here.

i have a question,
is there a 2009 Strada coming out this year? or any later model aside from what's on the market now?
i'm really sold on the Strada, and i've been hungry to buy a Strada since early this year, but i've been waiting for the latest one. Any ideas guys?

sir bigboy09 AFAIK i think there's no latest model will come out this year but wait may be Strada gurus some info on new Stradas but if happen you decide to take now dont forget to join Strada Club its best people and best trucks and best club as well

just to share the little info i have procured while shopping around:

according to citimotors, yung next batch is already here, i guess they're just disposing of all the old stock first. so if you order from there, i guess you'll get the newer model already.

with regards to specs, very minor facelift lang daw, i.e. chrome grilles, HU upgrade (for the GLS) etc. when i asked if the cargo bed would be straigher or bigger, hindi pa daw, so i guess walang structural modifications.

with discounts , slight price increase lang, in the vicinity of 3k-5k daw.

<btw, as of yesterday, diamond motors hasn't even gotten the memo for the new batch yet (well, at least MY s.a. hasn't confirmed it yet heheh).>

but sa OZ, mitsubishi has officially announced the new triton (longer bed, smaller but more powerful engine, straight and more spacious cargo bed, etc) , it's arriving in septembah:
