Welcome, Ched to tsikot.com and the Strada forums. The 4x4 Custom edition is basically the 3.2L 4x4 with a few additional accessories added. I can remember, as addition, the split opening sport lid and the steering wheel mounted HU remote control. For the price of 1.3 M, i think that's a good deal.
As far as the color is concerned, yes, i think that limited custom edition is issued in red color only. (Tama nga ba ako?)
I own a 3.2L 4x4 A/T model 2007 (tanda na pala ng strada ko). Okay naman ang transmission, wala akong problema. Other strada club members with automatic transmission has not posted any issue on their trannies.
Once you get your new strada, let us know. Share with us your experience with it and at the same time you may want to throw questions that the strada club members and strada owners I'm sure will want to answere and reply.
Taga saan nga pala kayo sir?Last edited by ooba99; July 29th, 2009 at 08:48 PM.

July 29th, 2009 11:42 PM #9246Hi Sir Tanchu..Sorry but I find it hard attaching pictures on posts..I belonged to a generation when modern laptops are far off the minds of Bill Gates & his cohorts..
..even your name sounds familiar during our times when hair wax / oil pomades was the fad..hehe..but blue body and black fender combination is fairly common among other vehicles you observed on the road..
Hi again sir chedv31..You must have browsed and convinced on some insights from a couple of threads comparing Strada and Dmax needless to say peace of mind coming from loads of ideas and helps from brotherhood of the Strada club a.ka. TSCP.
Your choice comes with bundles of goodies to it..I could have done same thing but cash position forbids..have you decided which dealer to get the unit? I got mine at Diamond Motors Marcos Hiway close to Sta Lucia Mall..The mileage is not much being not a daily car or utilize only on shorter routes i.e. pasig to ayala ave or to ortigas commercial center where the offices of my grown-up kids are..even with me around I spend much time car washing than driving around hehehe..never used it going to my farm in bicol yet nor haul off sacks of rice and murang niyog..
Are you referring to a turbo hood scope just like on the hilux or is it fortuner..?..I think it's done according to the engine turbo system design just like the forester 2.5XT..ang gulong mo supposed to be 16" stock but wider at 265mm (not sure..)..with mine it's narrow at 205mm but just fine considering my engine size but enough reserve power for the taking.. upgrading my tires and mags surely adds up weight and more diesel costs on the pocket..need more time before pursuing it..Last edited by tagalnasaabroad; July 29th, 2009 at 11:57 PM. nasabi na yata nila lahat. anyhow, here are my comments. in any car, mas mabagal talaga ang Automatic vs manual tranny. Fuel consumption also suffers but not that much. Strada CE is the top of the line automatic transmission, because if you want 3.2 engine manual, it will not be CE.
As far as I know, its only one color for the CE edition.
whatever variant you choose, you made the right decision.

July 30th, 2009 12:43 AM #9248I have a strada 3.2 CE AT silver, just bought it 12 days ago, been used driving an AT...wala akong problema sa Strada, nice ride, good engine response..pag binigyan mo ng fuel you can feel the engine power' lakas humatak w/ a good breaking power...as of now my fuel consumption is 6 to 9 km/L city driving...tipid pa rin compare to my CRV 2001 model...disadvantage lang medyo mahirap umatras dahil dun sa carryboy cover nya 1/4 ng rear window is covered, pa install ka nalng ng backup sensor...
my comment...it's a best buy
