I just had my 45k pms yesterday and the total cost is 3.2k using mineral oil.

They voluntarily replaced the U bolts for the leaf springs because, according to them, the old U bolts have poor quality. They also replaced my left rotor disc brake because I have noticed warping when the brakes get hot (mild wiggle at the steering wheel and pulsating feel at the brake pedal during braking). These were all covered by the warranty.

These are my tips mga BOSBS!

Balik ako uli sa lungga ko

    hi sir drave!

    saang Dealership po ito?

poor quality u bolts? maybe thats the reason din po why some stradas have leaning issues...

i don't thjink this has anything to do with the leaning. It just holds the leaf springs together and attaches it to the axle. Poor quality daw eh. I don't know what it technically means.

Dealer is SFM Mitsubishi San Pablo City.

They always give me 10% discount. Replacement of parts under warranty is also very easy. Thay also told me that for 4d56, mineral oil is still better, but for the 4m41, synthetic is better.

    Tips again.

IMO, they're the best Mitsu dealer.

If any of you want assistance re this dealer, IM me!

Amen! Dyan din PMS ko. During my last PMS (25k), the cost of the oil filter for my 4m41 was only P900. Down from P2,040. P1,700 lang total binayaran ko.

Hello po. Tagal din ako na hindi na ka open ng thread but happy to be back.

As for PMS, katatapus ko pa lang ng 15K pms last saturday and it cost me only +2k oil filter and labor, rugs and sandpaper. un filter is only +700 after discount na normal naman na binibigay if hihingi ka ng discount card after your PMS.

Magaling talaga sila dito. Yung mga mekaniko nila, dito na yata tumatanda. Kahit siguro nakapikit, kaya nila

Welcome ka rito anytime, Sir ooba99.

Synthetic oil is highly recommended for our 4m41 engine and the recommended change is every 10,000 kilometers. However, you still have to change the oil filter every 5,000 kilometers. The regular mineral oil can still be used but has to be changed every 5,000 km.As far as I know, most club members have already shifted to synthetic oil for the engine of their stradas both the 2.5L and 3.2L variants.

Mitsubishi Service Centers in Metro Manila do allow bringing in of own oil for the PMS change.

As a rule of thumb, try to avoid additional services and decline offers for additives that are outside the standard recommendation of MMPC. This is where the cost of PMS becomes bloated. We generally believe that they are not essential.

    Mga Sirs:

It was my wife who brought the Strada to Mits Casa (somewhere in Quezon City )for the 10K km warranty, The initial phone relay by my wife is Php 11300, then when I got home & checked the billing & job order, it was reduced to php 9K++ due to intitlement sa discount. It has a long list of items that was checked as per thier standard form which includes the flushing & replenishing of synthetic oil plus the filter.
Sabi daw it is a must for 3.2L to use syntrhetic oil due to its turbo inter cooler, next time daw ,come 15K or 20K km service it will not be that costly dahil dagdag lang ang kailangan.
My consolation is my wife bring home the used oil that we can use in other purposes , isinama na rin ang old filter which gives me extra chore to clean dahil dirty oil seep out from the plastic bag & dirtied the bed liner.
"When it rain it pours" he he he.
