February 23rd, 2009 01:03 PM #8392Sirs, linawin ko lang na I didn't went straight up that hill as told (and suggested by the pics). I did was able to get to the top (it's a cell site, I think) but I took a long detour...Kwentong 'yung lolo ko mas magaling' lang yun. And yung Mikey thompson, pangarap lang yun
G01, wala lang kasing magawa for the next several days. One nice thing dito sa probinsya is that is seems all destinations are w/in easy reach kasi walang traffic.
Thanks for the valuable tip, Arvin Crisiti. I'm a novice on this thing kaya hinay-hinay lang ako.
ooba99, thanks for the invite. Yep, egaysky is from our place. Our schedules just wouldn't allow us to meet kasi he's also abroad most of the time. Yes sir, someday I'll join your EB's, thanks again!

February 24th, 2009 08:48 PM #8396Dadz, shocks did well in rough roads. Walang bouncing pag nag-negotiate ng malalim na lubak. As I've said in my previous post, it held the the truck up real nice. Truck (especially the rear) sways before with the old shocks during high speed lateral movements but now, I hardly felt it after I did quick turns at moderate speeds. I don't know if the ladder-type chasis needs reinforcement but the shocks definitely helps. And not that I drive that way but I just would want to make sure I and the truck can do it if the need arises. Ride's a bit stiffer alright but I'll trade that to a much more stable ride...anytime. This said, mitsu was able to strike a really good compromise between stability and ride quality in the strada compared to other pickups, stock for stock
ianmitsulancer, I'm just chilling out here in the province. My kidz suggested we spent a day or two in our househelps' place this summer. Their place is really what we call far-flung, they have to walk 7kms to reach their house kase grabe daw kalubak at mabato yung daan.
mdksael, I was a frequent visitor there in balilihan during my cockfighting days. Yep, your surname sounds familiar. I know of one jenifer way back during my elem days in HSS. See you soon kabayan

Im glad that you are satisfied with the shock hope it's well worth for your money, keep on trailing my friend and enjoy the outdoor.
Keep In Mind This 3 Simple Rule...............
1Kill nothing but time
2Leave nothing but foot prints/tire prints
3Take nothing but pictures
Best of luck in you 4wheeling adventures.
