*levz, good evening sir. welcome to the thread and iwas lang po tayo sa text typing.

antayin natin yung response of the 3.2 users of this thread. but based on my experience, the highway fuel consumption for a 3.2 Strada M/T would be approximately 12km/liter... the A/T variant would presumably have 10-11km/liter...

added info lang for sir levz...

I've read an article I just don't remember exactly if its C mag or Topgear it says that the A/T 3.2 variant did better on long drives rather than the M/T variant, it has reached 14km/liter on long drives according to the article.

And for that I want to commend the driver...truly amazing! considering the temptation of nailing the pedal to the floor to let the torque of the strada push you onto your seat......

but from my experience on my Truck (3.2 M/T) 11km to 12km/liter if medyo relaxed type of driving but if the foot kinda gets itchy 8km to 10km/liter....

hope this helps you on your decision....

Can you give the Pros and Cons between MT / AT 3.2L 4x4 of this truck.

Salamat po ulit at Happy New Year.

Mine is a 3.2 M/T. FC noong stock pa ang tires is 12km/l. Now that I changed to wider A/T tires, my FC is 11.6km/l. City driving naman is 8 to 10km/l. Usually 2 kids and 2 adults ang sakay ng aking Strada.

    The advantage of A/T:
    1. Relaxed driving,
    2. No worries on clutch plates being contaminated with water when crossing a river,
    3. Crawling on rocks is easier.

    Advantage of M/T:
    1. Fun to drive,
    2. Overtaking is quicker,
    3. Better FC.

Sorry for the OT...just like people to view our latest event. Dec. 29 anniv. meet up http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...10#post1176110

    To answer LEVS question,

as others have stated here, any vehicle with AT or MT will have the same characteristic on maintenance, FC, and driving experience. If FC is an issue, then get the 2.5 as it is also powerful. Unfortunately, they don't sell that in AT.

With bigger engine equals higher maintenance cost (more oil, recommend fully synthetic oil, more expensive oil filter) and lower FC (due to bigger engine displacement.

With Automatic vs manual... dami mga pros and cons, but if you love to control the car, manual is the way to go...if automatic, well..thats more for the leisure type driving. with automatic, as long as you take care of the maintenance, it can last for a long time, for manual, you have to adjust the clutch if your not a good driver, you might have to replace the clutch disc, but thats common.

But with either engine displacement, you can't go wrong.

Padi, i am now also based in manila. I am just here for the holidays, balik ako dyan manila on Jan 3rd kaya hindi rin ako makaatend ng EB bukas. Sir Patriarch never misses to inform me about EB's pero nagkakataon na lagi ako wala. The last mini EB nasa bohol naman ako, and i was amazed marami din Strada ako nakita doon. Maurag!

Summer is the busiest season for me, sad to say malabo ako makasama nyan but i can do September . Anyhow, I would be more than willing to help for whatever needs the group might have for this bicol trip.
bro, ask ko lang sino fro naga or bicol dito sa group. Im also based in naga. hope to meet yo guys...

A lot of good place to go and to trek using our beloved Strada. Example; the Caramoan area going to Gota Beach. It is a real offroad adventure.

I am very much sure the local government of Camarines Sur will surely assist the group if a good plan was hatch.

I wish lang na nasa atin ako if ever na matutuloy un dream.

Anyway my best wishes and advance Happy new year and more power to all strada owners. Enjoy your ride as I do.

ok yan, CAM SUR FUN RUN.....
