hello sa inyong lahat!
got my strada gls a/t oct 2007, went to sagada right away to break it in.
noticed the squeaky sound on the return trip. turned up the stereo volume, and have not heard it since then...no problem so far with steering, suspension, transmission and uneven heights. am i satisfied after one year of use?

in addition to what Doc ooba99 and thepatriarch said, the strada is not a perfect vehicle... that is very true! ...And that includes Mitsubishi as a brand!...[/quote]
i was in the process of adding something when the one-hour editing grace period ran out on me- pay pinagawa si bossing hehehe....
I have seen the Strength and Weakenesses of the brand and what i do appreciate is that everything has a workaround. It may take some time for some issues to be resolved and to deal with some people with the attitude, but we will be resolved eventually. With this club and the thread, we can talk about it and think of ways to resolve it either on our level or at the dealer and raise an expectation from the dealer. im glad to know that most of the owners here are satisfied with the strada despite the issues... a phenomenon i must say.
Regarding the Squeaky leaf springs, i know of a recently launched pickup that passed in front of me and i heard its squeaky leaf springs too! at least the strada is not alone... hehehe...
*skippy- congrats! im sure the truck will serve you very well!
*dadz, thanks for the informative post about the dashboard lights!
*dosbydos- glad to know your strada is doing well. may i know your truck's mileage po? thanks.

November 20th, 2008 04:06 AM #7575guys i need your opinion, we are planning to change our rims and tires kasi naman ewan ko kung bakit nilagyan ng 245/65 H/T tires tong gls sport ng casa to think na 4x4 ito,the 17 inch upgrade to me is pointless
.
now we might downgrade to 16 inch rim to match with much wider and thicker A/T tires, perhaps like the first version of gls sport, (at least medyo mura yong gulong if magpapalit na, mahal kasi ng 17 di po ba?,) and hopefully to retain it's height/ground clearance.
can you please suggest what's the best tire brand to have and ideal tire size? is bridgestone really any better than like maxxis, michelin, pirelli etc.? ,kasi ito yong naka kabit originally.
and ma vovoid ba ang warranty? like the suspension. will it compromise handling and FC? dami kong tanong pasensiya na mga bossing.
thank you

IMO, Mickey Thompson is a tried and tested brand. if you plan to downgrade the size of your rims to 16 inches, just make it sure that the specs are the same with the stock rims for the GLS so that the warranty will not be voided. suspension and handling medyo gagaan... and mag-improve ang FC ng konti coz of the lesser weight (unless mas mabigat yung ipapalit mo na rims)

Good morning brothers!!!
share ko lang my experience using the 4L... the truck can go on with out your feet on the gas pedal or on the clutch... i thought this feature was only on the D Max...
in changing tires I would prefer Bridgetone Dueler A/T but since there's a lot of guys using this brand, I might choose Mickey Thompson (gamit ng mga pogi)...... sana lang may pambili
