For the newcomers sa thread na ito who are interested in seeing other modifications in the strada, I suggest that you go visit also the TSCP Strada Modification thread under the The Strada Club Section of Tsikot.com. There are tons of information there about actual strada modifications with lots of images. You ask questions and also share your images of your modifications. Konti pa lang pages kaya hindi tedious to view all the posts.

Sorry, ano po pala unit nyo sir? I was referring to the display sa center ng front panel (above controls ng aircon).

As mentioned by Av8or5, almost everybody has a 'better' fuel consumption during the initial 1K. Logical explanation here is that, everybody is on 'break-in' period, whereby, we keep our speed less than 100kph or 80kph, which is the most fuel economical speed.

hi guys whats up? It's good to be back, just to inform you that finally we got the white 3.2 gls m/t just today. though i haven't yet tested it since i'm still here in abroad, i spoke to my brother of what he can say about it, we used to own the 2003 model and it was not easy for the family to let it go but we thought it's time to say goodbye and welcome the new breed of it's own.

    here's his obs:

    1. it goes like a rocket, napaka sensitive daw ng accelerator, konting apak sulpot na agad.
    2. 110kph marks only at 2000rpm, almost effortless.
    3. the ride is exceptional, it's like a dream.
    4. engine is very quite it's almost like a gas daw.

we got it with 60 thou discount, plus the typicaL freebies.

will post pics soon, thanks to all strada owners who really inspired us to make the right decision..again!,. More power to TSIKOT!

just few things to clarify though since we are not familiar with it's engine, sabi daw kasi ng mekaniko don na no need na daw i tune up yong engine kasi kumbaga self winding daw ito? is this for real?

sabi din ng brother ko wala daw remember instruction like the 2.5 variants na i idle muna engine from a high speed to cool down turbocharger, (normally placed by the door on the driver side) does it mean exempted ang 3.2 with this?

thanks a lot, can't wait to come home in 3 months time!!!!

there is really no advantage or disadvantage of either variant. again it depends on the purpose of the customer. the best thing is to get a copy of the brochure and compare the two variant. but if tamad ka magbasa, the difference from gl to glx are the following:

    chrome garnish on door handles
center panel dash above the aircon controls have a lid
    dual airbags
mag rims 16x6 instead of old reg steel rims
    rear bumper
    rear third brake light
    bed liner
    step board
    front fog lamps
    alarm

some people want to dress their ride the way they want and they can get some of the accessories i stated above at a cheaper price. but for me, the difference in cost cannot substitute the dual airbags and orig front fog lamps and switch.

    same engine, same braking system

Sir av8or5 thanks a lot, really helped me sa decision making..

Congrats bro. We got the same variant. Dito rin sa thread na ito ako na-convince to go for the Strada. No regrets up to now.
Re: the engine, just follow the periodic maintenance schedule stated on the manual. Medyo malabo yung comment nung mekaniko. Some of us opted to install a turbo timer for proper cooling down of turbo whether 2.5 or 3.2. For me, human turbo timer gamit ko. Pa-relax relax muna bago turn off engine. Kaya ginagawa ko, park muna sa gilid for a few minutes bago magpa-gas.
